Chapter 107 - Order of the Crystallized Sentinels

Draxus and Matilda returned to the castle after they got messed around by Keith. As they intended to host the party not only for the possible new recruits for the Order he's managing, he's thinking of inviting Wendy's group to the Crystallized Sentinels Order.

He called up the vice-chiefs in the order to the meeting room and started to wait in there. He and Matilda split off inside the castle as Draxus started to work on the papers that were piling up on his office. But since he's in the meeting room, he only brought a bunch while waiting for the vice-chiefs to come around. After just around ten minutes, he already cleared up the papers. So he was pretty much stuck in clear boredom as to what to do. "Should I grab some more papers...? There's nobody here yet anyway..." Draxus sighed as he started to walk towards the exit of the meeting room. After opening the door, he found Olivia carrying more paperwork towards his meeting room. "Perfect timing Livi." Draxus quickly took half of the stacking paperwork on his hands to reduce her workload and brought it inside the meeting room. Olivia entered the meeting room to help out Draxus who was pressed with a huge workload.

"It's quite surprising that you decided to throw a party. We already celebrated yours but you were in that stasis chamber. So it can't be helped if you celebrate again." Olivia was smiling as she checks the paperwork and organizes it to multiple parts. Draxus laughed at himself a little out of embarrassment since he was only able to stay asleep on his very own birthday, because of the trouble he had caused. "My bad, since it's a party for me I decided to use the classic cover of a party for the Sentinels." Draxus had the idea to prevent the vice-chiefs from starting a prank on him by not attending. So he decided to push the idea of the inauguration of the new members. "Well, even though I did say inauguration, I did mean inviting them as official members of the order. Since these members are pretty much under us and are acquainted with either me, or the vice-chiefs of the group." Olivia then remembered four people that don't exactly get along with Draxus. "Then, those four as well? You mentioned that they used to bully you during your student days." She was slightly worried about the impact the four men who tried to pick a fight with Draxus during their date. "Those guys are at this point worthless, to the point that they have nothing but superiority complex to their name. One the gate is complete, it's best to send them back to the old world." Draxus had an exasperated expression as he recalled the faces of four people that had tendencies of irritating him. He simply sighed it out to get rid of the feeling and continued on his paperwork. The continued on for a bit in silence while waiting for the other vice-chiefs to gather around.

"Becoming your secretary is quite a surprise when you suddenly went to ask me about it. Surely your paperwork is almost endless but whenever I see your pace, it's quite a surprise that you're also capable of this." Olivia had cleared up her side of the paperwork which was actually just a quarter of the amount Draxus had to handle. To her surprise, Draxus was signing the last document that was placed on the table. "Well, it is definitely a surprise since I was pretty much thinking about ministry work or real estate back in my old place. I idolize Serkyrio that much, so I at least try to catch up." Draxus showed a gentle smile towards his exhausted lover and caressed her head. "You pretty much completed a workload of three people in a single day, you did quite well Livi." The two of them sat down on the meeting table and started talking about their life so far.

Just a few minutes later, the four vice-chiefs of the Sentinels, Wesley, Keith, Jevil, and Audrey had come around the meeting room. Keith had a grin on his face which Draxus desperately ignored. "Aight, let me get this straight, we're throwing a party." Audrey quickly turned her gazes towards the other vice-chiefs and nodded. "You're saying that but... We already celebrated your birthday you know? Christmas and New Years as well, so we basically have nothing to celebrate for." Audrey was averting her gaze away from Draxus as she tried to mess around. But seeing as it was easily predictable, Draxus simply pushed the nail even deeper. "So you're saying that we won't recruit more members? Pretty sure the ones under you guys would prefer to stay around. So they technically would join the Sentinels." Draxus's words caused the other vice-chiefs to turn their gazes away. "No messing around on a Sentinel party aight?" While Draxus had a smug expression. "Alright, invite those under you guys, we'll be training them in regards to combat and things about this world. But we need to throw a party for them as new members. Be selective aight? We don't want any problem children in our hall." Draxus' smile caused the others to sigh in resignation as their prank attempt was rendered useless.

The next day, many people had gathered in the Hall of Sentinels for a party. They didn't have any great clothing for such, but it was accepted as a normal thing as they were moving with a vice-chief of the group.

"Good evening Drax, it's been a while since I last saw you." Pauleen greeted Draxus as the last time they saw each other was in the capital of Santuria. "Yeah, great job on your mission that time. It's good that you two joined here since I'll be granting you both rewards for that mission." Pauleen and Juniper were together as usual, but they didn't bring their group that they usually tag with. They completely understood that if they brought some certain people around, they could get sliced in half by Draxus due to what they did to him back on earth, but that is another story.

The other members had gathered around and started greeting each other. Most of them were sitting at the table chatting around. Some were already acquainted with each other, while others are completely strangers between one another. Those who are complete strangers were interacting with vice-chief Olivia and her group. They were Wendy, Charlotte, and Ashley, they were interacting around Olivia's group as they were the only ones that they were acquainted with. Draxus was greeting each vice-chief after giving priority to Olivia and his other fiancés. After going around the party, he walked up the stage and began his announcement.

"Greetings everyone, I am the person you know as Draxus Heimdal back on Earth. I used to be one of the aspiring college students who mysteriously appear in cosplay events. I'm quite relieved of your livelihood here since you were forcefully summoned from Earth and suddenly thrown in a battleground. But for now, all of you are safe." Draxus looked around as he took the glass of wine in his hand. "That doesn't mean, you'll always be safe. In fact, this world is quite familiar to those who lived in an age where we can watch anime, play online games, or watch some kdrama on the TV. We're all in the similar scenario of being in a different world than ours. Danger is always lurking around, and the only place you can count as being secure, is by being in an inn or this country." Olivia turned towards Pauleen and asked her regarding the terms Draxus just mentioned. She quickly answered the questions to her in a whisper. "Now, all off you may have received an invitation to join my group yes? I'd like to see your answers, if you wish to join the Sentinels, raise your glass." Draxus raised his glass of wine as an example to the others. He waited for the others to raise their glass and gazed around. Eventually, all other members joined Draxus in raising their glasses. "Congratulations, I shall accept you all now as new members of the Sentinels. Each one of you have been recognized by a person who was assigned to you have are personally acquainted, and recognized you to have a good heart, and you will all be training under them. But for today..." Draxus glanced towards the five chosen vice-chiefs to join him on the stage. "First, let me introduce those who are higher up on command. Most of you may already know them, but I shall introduce them so anyway." Draxus then walked behind each vice-chief to introduce them as a form of announcement to the newcomers. Most of them were no longer surprised until the last vice-chief was introduced. "This person is Olivia Yuriel Quisterion, princess of the Quisterion Kingdom, and one of my fiancés." Chattering quickly began around the group as it was a major surprise for a princess to be engaged to Draxus. Draxus himself heard mutters coming from the men. "Our leader's got chad MC aura, daymmm..." Draxus made an internal retort since they weren't exactly angered or jealous of him having a fiancé. "Lastly, I am the leader of the group, who is directly under Serkyrio Kaiser, the founder and emperor of this country." Draxus them allowed the party to completely commence as the food was being brought to the room by the chefs. Speakers that were setup were playing some gentle music to loosen up the atmosphere. He then walked towards Olivia's group who was talking around Pauleen, and Juniper. "You two, congratulations on officially becoming Sentinels. You can flex this towards your other friends you know?" Pauleen and Juniper laughed along with Draxus who quickly told them to mess around with her group. "Right, what was the reward you were talking about Drax?" Juniper reminded Draxus about something that he most likely missed to announce, which made Draxus facepalm himself before recovering almost instantly. "Right, I forgot about that my bad. But anyways, I shall officially give you two your sentinel titles." Draxus smiled as he turned his gaze towards Pauleen and Juniper.

Sentinel of Genuinity, Pauleen

Sentinel of Advocacy, Juniper

Sentinel of Potential, Olivia

Draxus giving them their titles, smiled proudly and greeted them. "Welcome, to the Order of the Crystallized Sentinels."
