After a grandiose meeting to conclude the year, Olivia immediately walked towards the observation room where Draxus could be seen in the laboratory. It became a habit to head towards the place where he was recovering and wait patiently. There, she continues to gaze at Draxus who currently has no consciousness. Feeling bits of despair, as she recalls the times he has suffered. It's not only the painful close calls and all the negative experiences she could recall, but she does smile from time to time as she remembers the times he smiles the brightest. She occasionally gets news of progress being made to Draxus's full recovery which gets her a lot more excited.
After a while of constantly reminiscing about their pasts, she sat down as one person had entered the Laboratory. Harold began working on Draxus as he runs his tests. After a while he would perform a whole scan to check the vitals. "Hoo? We're approaching the day now?" That monologue by Harold was heard by Olivia as her eyes shot up and began thinking that the reawakening will come soon.
"Just beyond new years huh? At this point it's going to be a huge fest prepared just for him." Harold finished up his daily work in the Laboratory, thus shutting down the lights and such. Olivia clutched her chest tightly as tears start to pour out from her eyes. She sat down on the chair and kept her eyes on the hyperbaric chamber, patiently waiting as suddenly, a flash of cerulean light appeared from behind it. In that timing, Olivia managed to see what that light was and got herself stunned for a split second. Afterwards, she could see a soft light blue color surrounding Draxus as an aura. Matilda and the rest of the girls entered the observatory room and where surprised after seeing Olivia's expression. They immediately turned their gaze towards Draxus as they witnessed the aura getting split into multiple kinds of colors. Gold, silver, white, brown, gray, bluish green, green, and black formed. Initially, they deemed the black aura was evil, but seeing as it joined the eight auras that revolved around Draxus, the girls had deemed it otherwise. "W-What is happening...?" The five girls were confused as to what was happening to Draxus, up until a voice of resonance entered their head. The gray part of the aura fluctuated for a bit as the resonance came. The voice was too familiar for them, that they immediately knew who the owner was. "Draxus!" Olivia shouted immediately, but she instinctively held her breath once again as the aloof voice of Draxus resonated in their minds. "Relax, relax, sorry for letting you see me in this state, Livi, everyone... I really overdid it this time huh...?" The girls finally got their smiles back as Draxus reassured them with his resonance. "Y-You're awake...?" The body that contained the eight souls didn't react at all, but the auras did fluctuate whenever Draxus resonated to their minds. "Yes but no, my body is pretty close to reawakening... But I can sense those that are around me. Can anybody tell Serkyrio that I apologize...? For causing such a major trouble in the mission..." Gwen shook her head and told Draxus that Serkyrio didn't particularly mind. "Ah thanks... But before we continue, you girls definitely have some questions for me right? Ask away." The girls gazed at each other before nodding in agreement to ask one by one. "Those auras... Are they the eight souls...? From your moon card right...?" Olivia was the first one to ask regarding the eight souls. There was an awkward silence, but Draxus responded before long. "Yes... These eight auras, will merge into one sooner or later... But that doesn't mean I'll no longer be me... I will simply have easier access to the souls and their powers. Ahaha... Their memories though, will be forever stuck in me." The tension rose up a little as the awkward space returned. After a while, Matilda spoke up with a question on her mind. "Will you be okay?" As if showing a reassuring smile, Draxus spoke in such tone. "Of course, my power may be sealed now, but I will definitely overcome everything I face." The girls each gave a relieved sigh as they understood that Draxus will be coming back to them soon. It was then Lily asked Draxus a question. "What will you do after you wake up?" Draxus thought up of a plan for a bit before responding to her question. "After I wake up, I'll take some time off to rest and organize everything. For the next week after I reorganize things, I'll spend a day with each of you. I'll be catching up for the time I wasted in this capsule." After they chatted for a while, Julie was the next one to ask her question. "The stories about the souls...?" As if to remind Draxus to answer any question they have. "Ah, that'll be when I get the time to tell you all about them... Each one became a vivid memory in me so I will be able to tell you with clarity. But that'll be for later alright?" Julie sat down on her chair while smiling wryly before going back to her topic with her twin sister. Gwen then turned her gaze towards Draxus which took notice immediately. "Seems like you're getting used to the others already Gwen. I'm glad that you're doing alright..." Gwen giggled a little before asking Draxus for a favor for all the girls in the room. "Can you sing for us... Just so we can feel more relieved from you...?" The other girls immediately turned their gazes towards Draxus filled with anticipation. Draxus could only chuckle and surrender as he thinks of a good song. "Ahahaha, sure thing. Let's see... Aight, I got a good one, be sure to open your ears everyone."
Draxus used resonance magic to sing to the girls about a song that focused on pushing through the struggles and fulfilling promises. It was an upbeat song that Draxus quickly memorized after hearing it once. The girls who listened to it could only feel much more relieved and inspired as they listened to Draxus singing for them.
After singing, Draxus decided to wrap things up and told the girls that he'll be entering deep sleep until his body reawakens. The girls themselves understood the reason why as the eight souls merged back together into the body and the resonance from Draxus stopped. However, they at the very least left with a relieved expression as they went to the dining hall.
