Two days left before the monthly meeting and the celebration of the end of the year. Serkyrio was somewhat busy with the preparations for the meeting, yet he pretty much finished all the work required from him in unparalleled speed. It wasn't much of a surprise as most of the members that are working alongside him are his secretaries and Charnet. Remuel and Arlesk came around from time to time to assist and make reports and it was getting really boring to a certain point. After making the finishing touches on his paperworks, Serkyrio went out from his office and told Charnet to call Remuel, Harold, Andreus, Richard, Jaquinn, Collin, and Arlesk for a short challenge in the throne room.
"So... What are we called for again?" Remuel was confused to the sudden turn of events of the guys being called to the throne room. "Well, I may have to ask everyone if they're currently bored out of their wits." From the question that Serkyrio asked, all members that were called in nodded their heads. "Very well, then Harold, it's time for us to test out the trackers that I tasked you to make some time ago." From a quick order, Harold brought out small spheres from his interdimensional storage. "Explanations for them if you will." Harold then began his explanation to the guys that are currently tilting their heads. "These small spheres are magic trackers. They are made up of mana that could seep through objects and form an ethereal connection to scanners. With these, we can track a person easily without having them notice that they're being observed. I'll activate it now." The spheres dissolved into dust and slowly seeped into the bodies of the eight members in the throne room. "Currently, the dust can be controlled well with Serkyrio's phone, so only he has the authority to remove the dust from our bodies and stop tracking our locations. However, if you guys bring out your phones, you can pretty much find each other. Draxus also has the app itself installed so once he wakes up, he'll be joining the next testing sessions." Upon hearing the word [Testing Sessions] Arlesk's eyes narrowed down and stated his own question. "What do you mean [Testing Sessions]?" Serkyrio then smiled and fully announced his current intent. "Well, to test it out, it's just getting our phones to use the map application right? It's a little too mundane if you think of it that way so let's play tag with this." Remuel's eyelid immediately twitched in reaction as he didn't exactly enjoy the sound of playing tag. "Oh boy..." Jaquinn laughed a little before asking Serkyrio about the rules. "What about the rules?" Serkyrio stood up and began stretching his body while giving a quick explanation to the rules. "Just don't damage the castle and the interior. Hiding is okay but don't forget I can track you. Winning condition, final three will win. The four that lost will give a total of one platinum coin for each person in the top three. Basically, that's seventy-five gold coins." When the players heard of the punishments and reward, their competitive side completely intensifies to the extent where desperation could be seen. "Looks like everybody's pumped up, then let's begin!" Serkyrio raised both of his hands with a wide smile as he began counting down. "Ten! Nine! Eight!" Upon hearing the countdown, every player panicked and began rushing out of the throne room while using magic to boost them. After counting down to zero, Serkyrio first checked his phone to get the locations of all the members in the castle. "Let the game commence."
Most members had spread out from each other to lower their chances of getting caught. One person even such an idea to hide in the empty rooms. That person was Collin, a powerful scout who managed to infiltrate and collect and confirm information regarding anything that occurs within the [Tranquil Harmony]. He is leading the inner side of Tranquil Harmony's Scout team. Because of that, he has a powerful advantage to know where Serkyrio is and simply try to avoid him the best way he can. The time of the day was dusk so the sunlight was starting to fade, making some rooms very dark without their lights being active. Collin pulled a hidden lever which opened a hidden door that was leading to the ceiling of the library. He first checked through the small opening in the wall with his scope to observe if the library is safe. While looking around, he saw Serkyrio checking his phone while turning to his direction. Collin gulped his saliva and remained in position to fully hide his presence. After a while, he looked around with his scope and noticed two players who are hiding in the library. One of them was Harold and the other was Arlesk. They were separated as Arlesk was hiding on top of a bookshelf on the highest floor while Harold was hiding behind a different one on the lowest floor. Serkyrio then began flying around to see if there are anyone on the higher floors and found Arlesk immediately. Arlesk then began his escape with parkour skills over the bookshelves. Just before Serkyrio was about to tag him, he dashed backwards after his last step to make an immediate turn and jump down to hide in the bookshelves. Serkyrio lowered his levitation while chasing him, but he stopped for a split second while turning his head around to check if there are anyone behind him. Collin panicked and hid himself while remaining inside the ducts, but when he checked his phone, he realized that there was one tracker moving close to his position. He immediately went away from his position and crawled back out to where he came in. Serkyrio peeked into the hole only to see nothing but an abandoned scope. "Collin was in here huh...? As expected of him." Serkyrio then left the library which gave Harold and Arlesk a huge amount of relief on their part.
While walking through the hallways, Serkyrio was keeping an eye on his phone that was tracking the participants of the game. It was then he noticed a tracker that was staying still after turning over a corner. Serkyrio kept his eye on the tracker while walking towards the small point as he immediately discovers the presence. However, he pretended to not notice it for the time being as he saw nothing but an empty hallway. He stopped for a second and raised his right arm to let it support him with the wall, but the hand was stopped midair as he felt some clothes instead. "Dangit." A voice came out from thin air before the illusion of the wall slowly reformed itself into Remuel who was showing dead fish eyes and lifeless expressions. "It was a good idea, but not really against me." Serkyrio laughed as he begins to escort Remuel back to the throne room while using his phone to announce something. "Attention attention! The first person has been caught! Somebody decided to get a little sneaky and use invisibility, but that's a big nope. Remuel! Has been caught by hiding in plain sight." Remuel sighed as he followed Serkyrio to the throne room while muttering with a lifeless expression. "You hide in plain sight, but I forgot that it doesn't work." After escorting Remuel to the empty throne room, he began looking around to hunt for other players.
