"Seems like Draxus managed to get a hit in today. I wonder if I could do the same today?" Remuel smiled as he began pouring mana into the scythe. Serkyrio simply formed a semi-defensive stance as he kept the spear forward. Remuel then charged in and swung the scythe multiple times. Serkyrio simply shrugged off most strikes while keeping his distance. The spear he equipped was just barely longer than Remuel's scythe to the point where he could make sneaky counters using his spear. "As expected, you really mastered the movements of the scythe." Serkyrio continued to dodge as he spat out some words of praise for Remuel. The recipient simply smiled and let out some words for Serkyrio as well. "It doesn't end there! [Amalgam of Belial]! [Bring forth endless acceleration to me]!" Remuel's speed instantly skyrocketed to a major amount and began landing grazes and small cuts on Serkyrio. At that point, Serkyrio realized that he won't be able to land decent hits on Remuel who had accelerated at extreme levels. "Amalgam of Destiny sure is trouble huh?" Remuel continued landing attacks while Serkyrio continued his dodging spree. After attempting multiple counterattacks, he forced Remuel to dash back which gave him a chance to throw his spear and disarray his thinking for a split second. Remuel dodged the spear smoothly and tried to close the distance while swinging down the scythe. Serkyrio predicted that kind of attack and perform the clapping hand-block to stop Remuel's advance. "Kek, now let's get real here." Serkyrio moved the scythe aside and pulled it to suddenly bring Remuel into close range. He then struck his gut which got him launched all the way back to the wall. Remuel received minor damage but he recovered his stance quickly and tried to use [Amalgam of Destiny] once more. "[Amalgam of Virtues]! [Collect and join together as we bring forth victory]!" Multiple burning orbs appeared in varied colors. Each fire was infused with a different kind of element allowing him to constantly hail his enemy with varied attacks that support each other's weakness. However, the chant of using [Amalgam of Virtues] overlapped with Serkyrio using a gem. He held a literal diamond and channeled one of its abilities. "[Absorb and collect, merge the magic, and return it to them at full force]!" A transparent shield was formed instantly which absorbed the fire magic Remuel made. Serkyrio then charged up energy into his fist in preparation to blasting the absorbed magic with it. Remuel noticed the plan and cancelled the magic before Serkyrio could accumulate too much firepower in it. He then closed his position with his scythe to try and interrupt Serkyrio's attack. But since he noticed that Serkyrio just finished gathering and prepared to strike the transparent barrier which absorbed colors, he decided to strike the ground with his scythe instead. In that moment, he simply poured magic into the scythe and activated the slug-shot function that was added by Draxus. In that instant, Serkyrio noticed that and tried to unleash his attack. But as the slug bullets were faster, the charged up elemental energy that was kept inside the plain was thrown towards Serkyrio instead. Serkyrio simply smiled which got Remuel shocked. "Did you think I won't place a second layer when you're my opponent?" Another layer absorbed all the collected energy that was blasted towards Serkyrio. He then struck the second barrier which spread out all of the energy towards Remuel which got him burnt all around due to the accumulated fire. He was knocked away once again but he didn't get himself smashed into the wall this time. He stood up once again and used [Amalgam of Destiny]. "[Amalgam of Revelations]" Twelve layers of mana barriers materialized and got him completely protected. He begins to heal slowly using a special kind of fire that he generated. "[Phoenix Tears]" With a short chant, the speed of regeneration gradually began to pick up and heal him faster. Serkyrio got that chance and closed his position with Remuel. Remuel fired another slug-shot to try and slow down Serkyrio. After some time, Serkyrio struck Remuel on the gut once more and forced him into the wall this time. "Guah!!" A painful voice resounded from Remuel which got some of the audience worried. In a more skewed sense, Victorina and the two maids were watching carefully while worried. Serkyrio then unleash multiple strikes which were barely blocked by Remuel using concentrated barriers. Each strike produced a significant sounds as it struck the small layered barrier Remuel made. At the same time, he created a small orb of fire synchronized to each punch Serkyrio made. After generating a large enough burning orb, he brought it down to him and performed a double loss strategy. Serkyrio took notice of his plan and dispelled it quickly using a diamond-shaped moonstone. Just as he turned back to Remuel, he instantly received another large cut to his torso, bisecting through the cut Draxus made, forming an [X]. Even though Draxus's cut was already healed out, Serkyrio simply smiled as he witnessed Remuel do something in pure style points. "Kuh!" He spat out the blood that accumulated in his mouth straight to Remuel. Remuel who knew the strategies Serkyrio had simply dodged the spit and distanced himself immediately. However, that idea by itself turned out to be a mistake as Serkyrio brought out a diamond-shaped onyx gem. "Shi-!" Just as Remuel cursed his mistake, Serkyrio's chant overlapped with him. "[Be deprived of your will, kneel down to me and present your blade]" Because Remuel was surprised and shaken by his mistake, he was easily forced to kneel out of sheer willpower amplified by the onyx gem Serkyrio held. He held out his scythe and noticed that the effect had already ended. He tried to stand up immediately but it was already too late as Serkyrio had teleported right in front of him to close the distance. Remuel received a straight kick to his shoulder which got him knocked back to the wall. Serkyrio took the scythe and activated the slug-shot aimed at Remuel. Remuel attempted to dodge the slug-shot but Serkyrio stopped him completely. "[Receive your punishment and obey]" After receiving the attack without getting the capability to dodge due to Serkyrio's [Silent Command] gem, Remuel lost his consciousness.
Serkyrio smiled and looked around the audience that was cheering loudly. Some people had worried faces while some others were clapping as they were in awe with how the battles are going so far. To be able to land clean hits against him after a few months, Serkyrio smiled once more and turned his gaze to Remuel. He then took out the turquoise gem once more and activated [Eternal Regeneration] for a few seconds to fully heal them. "[Let the energy of the absolute nature bend the will of the deity and repair us without fail]" The commentator was going crazy due to what Remuel managed to do. For Serkyrio, it seemed that Remuel was trying to answer the expectations of people around him to finally do much better than he was able to before. At that point, he expected that Arlesk might be able to do something as well. "To think that he'd sneak and do a trapped double-suicide... Can't really lower my guard against them anymore." Serkyrio went and took the spear while looking around to check for his harem. Serkyrio found Victorina and beckoned her to get Remuel out safely. Just as she was about to come down, Harold entered the arena through a portal and called out to Serkyrio. "Yo, that was a nice fight. I was really surprised that the two finally managed to handle something like dealing concrete damage to you. I'll be sure to grow up as well eventually." Serkyrio simply laughed as he looks forward to Harold's growth. "Don't worry, just do it in your own pace. Remuel here simply outdone himself with his deceit after all." Serkyrio smiled as Harold dragged Remuel into the [Dimensional Laboratory]. Arlesk then appeared after a few seconds and prepared his sword and musket. "Been a while since I had you fight seriously huh? I wonder what you got in stock for me?" Arlesk simply laughed and replied calmly to Serkyrio. "Well, let's say that I have some secrets too." The two of them entered their stances and prepared themselves for battle.
