Arlesk walked around as he examined the surroundings of possible action. He didn't find any scouts with his first scan so he still has some time to work around. The ones that accompanied him are Charnet, Shia, Valentina, Hecate, Amber, Collin, and Jaquinn. They prepared the food and the necessary items to be used in the war. They're stationed over the mountain and could easily find the enemies as they have a height advantage. They prepared as much liquid mana as possible since their group are the ones that have the most amount of casters. Arlesk performed a second check and finally noticed some scouts moving around which he used the colt commander to kill off. "Quite early!" Arlesk had started the timer now that the enemy army finally became visible after he killed off the scouts. But seeing as they're on the bottom of the mountain facing an unfavorable situation, they had began splitting off their soldiers and ascend the mountain slowly. Rock formations were built as if providing the soldiers that are slowly advancing with cover. "What the hell, why did we get to face a troublesome group." Charnet took out her sniper rifle which was thoroughly designed by Draxus and started picking off the enemies. The weapon she got was equipped with an interchangeable lens which can switch to detecting heat signatures and to sensing the trajectories and making future predictions. The same sniper rifle was given to Collin who began killing off the stray soldiers. The magicians finally began blasting down using a lot of magic and caused destruction throughout the lower side of the mountain. "Jaquinn, go eliminate some people down there." Jaquinn smiled and gave a thumbs up before disappearing instantly. He sneakily rampaged within the army and killed off various enemies without being detected at all. Arlesk finally noticed a person casually walking up the mountain. He didn't have the equipment of the army but was wearing a nice robe and seemingly some magic items. "So Luventrion's hero is a magician huh? Snipe him." Collin aimed his sniper rifle directly towards the head of the enemy hero but was deflected to an entirely different direction. "A protective barrier, let's see how long that can hold on. [Stellar Planetaria N Zodiac]! [Sol]!" An artificial sun was created out of thin air from above the army. The heat it expended caused the army to slow down from moving up the mountain while sweating badly. Only the person who they regarded as the hero was completely unfazed. In fact, the hero began creating sheds for his soldiers to hide from the scorching heat. "[Disintegrate them]" With a simply command, the artificial sun Arlesk made began firing lasers downwards to the soldiers. Effectively killing many of them. The artificial sun eventually lost its power and dissipated after firing too many lasers. But the magicians continued piling as many follow-ups as possible. The army easily shrunk down to nine-thousand troops without much issue. The army still hasn't advanced even one fourth of the height and they've lost more than a thousand troops. But the enemy hero finally began launching magic towards their group. "[Stellar Planetaria N Zodiac]! [Sagittarius]!" Arlesk directed his anti-magic bow and aimed it towards the hero. The enemy hero seemed to have misjudged the large bow made up of stardust and created a twenty-five layered barrier as a form of challenge. As Arlesk fired the arrow, all the barriers the enemy hero had created were instantly destroyed. All of his mana was instantly drained out and it formed him to kneel immediately. Arlesk prepared a second shot while Charnet tried to shoot the enemy hero in the head. But there was an interference as the soldiers began converging onto him to ensure his safety. "Wow, troublesome... Let's shut them down with extreme cold this time. [Stellar Planetaria N Zodiac]! [Uranus]!" The pendant that was hanging down from Arlesk's neck shined brightly once again as extreme cold flowed downward to the bottom of the mountain. A hailstorm was made afterwards as small ice balls rained down on the enemy. Their advance slowed down quite a lot as their numbers slowly dwindle down to eight thousand. The magician dropped down a flurry of magic to the army and further damaged them down. Collin and Charnet continued shooting down enemies that are vulnerable while Arlesk had created thick snow on the mountain. "Ooh! An idea came to my mind." Collin who heard Arlesk spat out some words immediately asked him. "It's gonna be something crazy right?" Arlesk smiled and nodded to Collin's question. He formed a small snowball and let it begin to roll down the mountain. The size eventually grew to a cannon ball and eventually to a large boulder of snow. "I call this... [Avalanche], best part is that you don't really need magic for this." Ice or freezing magic isn't Arlesk's forte, but he was able to bring out ice that's much stronger than Draxus's usual abilities. The snow boulder eventually hit the pile of shields and buried most of the soldiers in snow. "Strike!" Arlesk cheerfully raised his hand and began molding another snowball while sitting down. "This is war, not snowball bowling Arlesk..." Charnet let out a retort while laughing a little to the spectacle Arlesk had brought to the army. After some time rolling down snowballs, Jaquinn showed up next to him. "Oiiii! I almost got hit by one of those snowballs! It's not funny!"
After a while, the army had ascended halfway to the summit. However, the number of troops had a severe decline as they only have three thousand remaining. Seeing as [Sagittarius] is still active, Arlesk prepared another shot. The troops instantly scattered around slowly while the hero created some large block of terrain to block the arrow this time. "He learned his lesson, but didn't understand the principle." Arlesk changed the arrow type on his stardust bow and launched it towards the debris the hero made. A large explosion resonated and instantly destroyed the wall. The hero ended up getting knocked away as the impact of the explosion reached even the hero. After falling down a solid ten meters and landing on his back. The hero started standing up limply. "This is kind of a shitty hero seeing as he couldn't take on that much pain. But if he stands on the backline, he would be troublesome." The enemy hero actually launched a bunch of dangerous attacks towards Arlesk's group. However, it wasn't enough as Arlesk simply destroyed the source of mana of the attacks that flew towards their direction with his colt commander. "Let's finish him off with a penetrative round." Arlesk prepared the stardust bow and fired a third short which instantly pierced through the chest of the hero and brought out the heart. Not one barrier was made but even with the excessive meat-shielding by the soldiers, the arrow had collected more than twenty hearts stuck on it. "Clean as fuck boi!!!" The rest of the group immediately performed the final cleanup as the soldiers began their retreat with the hero being killed. Arlesk and Collin rushed down to join Jaquinn who continued assassinating enemies from behind. With a mithril sword and the colt commander, Arlesk had brought down most enemies while dispelling all his abilities. The mountain returned to normal as they slowly killed off each remaining member with ease. Even with three thousand troops, seeing their hero get killed off easily filled them up with fear. Causing them to panic around and lose the formation. After some time, all the soldiers have been killed off one by one and now he stopped his timer. The second he looked at his timer, he had dead fish eyes. "One hour and six minutes... Surely everyone will have a sub one hour... Is this because they're too slow to even ascend and be cleared down by our magic...? Wait... It's because each soldier was spread out.... It became difficult to clear them in groups..." Arlesk walked towards the corpse of the dead hero who was there to give the soldiers the order to spread out. He then expended a lot of bullets towards it. "Damn this! My money... Investment... Damnit!" He kicked and stomped the ground out of frustration while keeping the dead fish eyes. After some time venting his frustration on the hero's dead corpse, he returned to the group along with Jaquinn and Collin.
