Draxus sat next to Crystel who urged him to come to the central table. Despite being famous for food, the inn was close to empty on the mornings. There were only a few people around that are eating along with the three that are on the tables in the center. Crystel then introduced Draxus to the two girls. "Lily, Julie, this is Draxus, he's just started lodging here." Draxus who was introduced gave a simple greeting to the two of them. "Good morning you two, my name is Draxus Heimdall." He gave a light smile while making sure that the two won't feel pressured at all. The two girls had similar features of red hair but one was around shoulder length while the other reached the back. Their eyes are both gray with tinges of blue in them. The two girls who Draxus deemed to be twins returned their greetings and the one with the longer hair introduced herself. "I'm Lily Bequain, and this is my younger twin, Julie. Nice to meet you Draxus." Draxus shook the hands of the twins one by one and started exchanging information with them. Crystel went back to the kitchen to bring out Draxus's breakfast.
"So, what made you travel these parts Draxus?" Lily rested her head on both of her hands which was placed on top of the table. Draxus turned his gaze to her and gave an answer. "I used to be with a group of friends but the four of us had separated for the time being to go for training." The younger twin Julie, tilted her head while probing. "Training?" Draxus turned his gaze to her and answered the probing question. "Well, it's basically to experience the outside world since we've been training for almost all of our lives." Draxus lied a bit since the life he had was pretty solemn until he met Serkyrio around the age of fifteen. There was also the fact that he existed in a different world which should be avoided as a talk at all costs. In conclusion, Draxus gave out some temporary info while matching it with the current world where he's living in. "I see... Then what are your plans for the time being?" Lily asked Draxus regarding his plans which caused him to start pondering. "Hmm..." After a few seconds of thinking he got his plans laid out. "I think I'll start by registering with the guild. Some of my friends have already registered and even took a quest as far as I know." Crystel had returned with some food on the tray. It was a simple sandwich with meat, lettuce, and tomatoes along with a bowl of warm soup. While eating breakfast the three decided to take quests together and form a party. Draxus then told them that he'll introduce them to more of his friends that they'll encounter sometime soon.
After enjoying breakfast, Draxus went back to his room for a bit to prepare something. Lily had told him to meet later at nine so he had time to do something. With his free time, he pondered for a bit while making some calculations. "Carrying stuff is a pain... Should I make an interdimensional space storage?" He lied down on the bed while thinking of something huge. "Ninety minutes..." He checked his watch and closed his eyes while remaining flat on the bed. After that, he began concentrating and imaging a different space where he could simply store everything. Then he added the concept of stopped time which was pretty much a long process. It is to ensure that he can keep newly made food in there and take it out anytime for consumption. However, the compensation was that he can no longer store anything that's living. After about a solid seventy minutes of concentration, he had finally finished creating an interdimensional storage. First thing that came out from his mind after finishing the long ordeal was about the others. "I wonder if they made one already?" It was however, concluded instantly. "Pretty sure if it's them, then that's the first thing they'll think of..." He stood up and then placed his headset inside the dimensional storage. The same thing happened to the jacket and most of his belongings. The only thing that he kept from his pocket was his smartphone and his S&W Revolver. He then went out of his room and waited on the inn's tables.
Crystel found him sitting down quietly so she went and served him some tea. Draxus thanked her and began drinking his tea bit by bit. She then left with words of wisdom and a slight tease. "Enjoy your da-" She coughed a bit and replaced her words instantly. "Enjoy your trip." Draxus who heard her only narrowed his eyes a little while making a retort on his mind. "You were clearly about to say date were you? Were you?!" But those words never came out from his mouth. After waiting while drinking tea, Lily and Julie had come down from their rooms. They wore adventuring gear which are small pouches and swords that are mostly matching between them. Their garments are both casual dresses that allowed them easy movements. Draxus who saw their figures let out a voice of interest. [Heeeh...?] The twins approached him while waving their hands. "Ready?" Lily asked him of his preparation. Julie who noticed that he isn't carrying anything had a different question. "What about your gear?" Draxus who noticed her confusion immediately gave out an answer. "Ah don't worry, I'll do something about it. And yeah, I'm ready." While drinking the rest of his tea, Draxus stood up cracked his fingers, and stretched a little bit. Lily who noticed the gesture asked Draxus about it. "Hey, are you gonna fight without a weapon?" Draxus answered calmly which got both of them informed. They then left the inn while notifying Crystel. "Have a safe trip!" Was heard from Crystel before they went to the [Adventurer's Guild].
Draxus, which was his first time entering it, looked around the area which was bustling with too much noise. Many adventurers gathered on various tables while there are also people who are staring at the boards filled with requests. He saw two familiar figures of a teenage boy and a teenage girl. However, he didn't really bother them yet since he still has to register to the guild. Led by Lily and Julie, Draxus moved towards the receptionist and told her to register him. "Can you register him as an adventurer?" The receptionist girl immediately accepted and asked for his information while bringing out a piece of paper. "Then, can I have your name, age, and then signature over here?" Draxus filled out the form while humming a song. "You can sing?" Julie who heard it first asked Draxus about it. "Well, I am somewhat able to." Draxus answered while finishing up the form. He then gave it to the receptionist and had the process begin. "Very well Draxus, you are now officially a part of the guild, please remain for a while since I am still processing your guild card. While we're waiting, do you need an explanation regarding the guild requests?" Draxus nodded in response. "Then, let's begin with the rankings. The adventurer's rank will be divided into seven ranks. You will start from white, then yellow, and orange. Within those ranks, you will have basic requests that have been divided into various difficulties. With orange having the hardest starting requests while white being easiest. The next tier will be bronze and silver cards which require you to perform a feat that gives you a title." Draxus thought a bit of something and asked a question. "What do you mean by title?" The receptionist gave Draxus a clear explanation about it. "Titles like [Dragon Slayer], and [Mutation Hunter]. There are many titles which come from various kind of high level monsters. Those kinds of titles can be obtained anytime and will assist you in ranking up. Next is the gold and platinum ranks. These ones are more difficult to reach since many adventurers tend to get stuck on silver for various reasons." Draxus continued to listen to the explanation that was given to him. "You need to have a desirable behavior since there are stances that you will take requests from the country themselves. The difficulty of the quests are at the level of fighting against apocalypse class monsters." Draxus who realized something asked her a question after she finished explaining everything. "Say, are there people who have reached the platinum rank?" The receptionist immediately answered his question. "There are, three people have reached the platinum rank. However, two of them had already died and the last one is actually a summoned hero from the country around the southern parts of the world. Is there anything else you'd like to know?" Draxus shook his head slowly while thanking the receptionist. After he left the counter, he found the pair of familiar figures waiting for him. "Finished registering Drax?"
Draxus introduced Lily and Julie to the two which are actually Audrey and her cousin Mitch Crifter. "Lily, Julie, these are Mitch and Audrey, they're two of my friends that are moving around with me. They group greeted each other and asked regarding their plans. "Taking a quest?" Draxus turned his gaze at Audrey and replied. "Yep, what about you guys?" Mitch gave an answer to Draxus's question. "Ah, we're currently scouting for requests. We'll take one later in the afternoon." Draxus then told him that he's heading out for the time being and they exchanged greetings one last time. "Be careful out there." Draxus, Lily, and Julie then went to the requests board.
