As Silkie and Felix walked side by side back to the apartments Silkie asked "So… did you enjoy the date?" Felix thought for a moment as he said "I'm not really sure what it was we were supposed to be doing… but I guess it was fun." Silkie smiled as she said, "Then maybe we can do it again some time." Felix stared at her smile for a moment and then seen the red-haired girl with hazel eyes say "Thank you for giving me a chance." As Felix froze for a moment the girl asked "Are you alright?" Felix stared at the girl and watched as she faded back into Silkie he heard the question once more as Silkie asked "Are you alright?" Felix flinched as he said "Y-yeah… I'm fine… I just got a bit distracted." Silkie stared at him for a moment and then walked to her apartment as she said "Well then I'll quit bothering you for today." Once she was gone Felix held his head and mumbled "That's twice now that I've seen that person." As Felix walked up some steps the voice said "That person? Are you saying that some of your memories are still intact?" Felix shrugged as he said, "I don't know… it feels so real… but it's just overlapping with what they say." The voice fell silent for a moment and then said "You said this was the second time this has happened… right?"
Felix began to walk to his apartment as he nodded and said "Yeah… I did say that." The voice seemed happy as it asked "What does this person look like?" Felix thought for a moment as he opened his apartment door and said "She had red hair and hazel eyes… and something about her feels familiar." The voice laughed as it said, "So that human did have a hold of your heart after all." As Felix closed the door behind himself the voice said "There is a lighter inside the pot of your birth tree… take it out and light it." Felix reached into the pot and pulled out a lighter as he asked "Has this always been here?" As he lit it the girl appeared in front of him and said "Good, also I'm surprised you actually knew how to light it." The girl pointed at him as she said "The girl you keep seeing… it's your wife." The girl sighed as she said, "I originally planned to reintroduce you to her much later… but because of what you just mentioned I think it would be best if I brought you to her." The girl smiled as she said, "You're able to speak the language of spirits right?" Felix thought for a moment as he asked "If I don't how will I talk to her?"
As the room was engulfed with blue flames she said "Relax, I was just seeing how you'd react, a spirit and a normal person can't usually converse, the spirit can still hear them but a normal person can't hear the spirit." As they appeared by a lot lamp sitting on a stone-like table Felix stared at her with a disappointed look as he asked "Then… does this mean I won't be able to talk to her?" The girl smirked and said, "You aren't an ordinary person, you already overcame the mental barrier so you'll be able to talk to her." Felix stared at her looking less upset as he said "I don't know if I asked this before but how come everyone can see and understand Vex if she's a spirit?" The girl glanced at him as she said "I thought I explained this already?" The girl shrugged as she said, "Well whatever I'll explain it again." The girl pointed at him as she said "You and everyone else can see her because she was born a spirit, so she is very different compared to other spirits." As the two of them walked The girl sighed and said "Before you ask no… we aren't in the human realm anymore, we're completely in the spirit realm."
Felix glanced around as he said, "Well that explains why the color of everything seems a little off." The girl nodded as she said, "Yes, the color looks this way because of the light in this realm." The girl pointed to the grass as she said "That's why the grass looks close to blue and the sky looks somewhat pink." As the two of them approached a small cabin the girl stopped moving and said "We're here, you can go in and talk to her." Felix flinched as he nervously said, "B-but aren't you coming in with me?" The girls began to walk away as she said "No… I'll be back to pick you up shortly so you better stop wasting time." As she was engulfed by blue fire Felix panicked and said "Don't forget about me! I have no way of getting back without you!" The girl smirked as she said, "If I left you here I'd be abandoning my entertainment." As she disappeared Felix stared at the cabin for a moment and then said "Well… I guess it's time to get some answers." As Felix walked to the cabin door he thought "What kind of answers am I even looking for?" Felix raised his hand to knock as he sighed and said "Guess I'll figure it out once I see her."
Just as he was about to knock a woman opened the door and excitedly said "I knew you were close." Felix stared at her for a moment as he faintly remembered seeing her in a field once again. Felix continued to stare at her as he pointed and said "Your the girl I keep seeing… so that must mean… you're my wife!" The woman smiled as she said, "I didn't think I'd get to see you again so soon." The woman pushed the door further open and stepped aside as she said "Come in." As Felix walked in the girl stared at him while smiling as she asked "Have you managed to find yourself another woman yet?" Felix flinched as he nervously said, "N-no… b-but… is that really something a wife should ask?" The woman looked down barely smiling as she said "I may have been your wife at one point… but unfortunately we can't be together… because I died and became… I wasn't born one… so having a relationship is impossible." The girl smiled as she stared at him and said "So because I can't be with you… I want you to be happy… and to be with someone you can actually be with."
Felix stared at her as he said "B-but… isn't that kinda cruel?" The woman stared at him as she asked "What do you mean?" Felix stared at her looking somewhat upset as he said "Marrying another woman… just because I can't physically be with my wife… isn't that… like torture to you?" The woman stared at him looking upset as she said "Well… when you put it like that it does sound pretty sad." The woman smiled as she said, "You know… you were exactly like this when we were both still alive." The woman attempted to poke him but her hand went through him as she said "You need to stop thinking about others and think about yourself more often." The woman stared at him while smiling as she said "You saved me before… and brought happiness into my life… so now that I've saved you… I want you to be happy too." Felix stared at her with a look of pity as he sadly said "I-I'm sorry… but… I have no idea what you're talking about." The woman nodded as she said, "I know… and you don't need to remember for me to return the favor." The girl sat down on a wooden chair as she said "But… if you'd like to know then I guess I can tell you." As Felix sat down on the floor he stared at her and said "I'd like to know."
The woman smiled as she said "Alright… but first… you have to promise me that you'll find someone your truly happy with… and marry her." Felix stared at her for a moment as he said "I-I'll decide after hearing this story." The woman smiled softly as she said "Okay… but if you die unhappy I won't forgive you." Felix smirked as he nervously said, "Then I guess you better tell one heck of a story." The woman smiled as she said, "Don't worry… I'll make it worth your time." Felix smiled awkwardly as he said "B-but… before this story begins… what if… I die happily and decide not to marry anyone else?" The woman stared at him in shock as she said "I-I guess I wouldn't be able to be mad at you… but… I'd like for you to find a living wife who you can spend time with." Felix thought for a moment as he said "O-okay… I'll keep that in mind."
