A man roaming around the room with a tight holding onto his phone and keeping on checking, when any sound of notification rings on his phone. Keeping on scrolling and checking his phone with an anxious expression on his face and kind of expectation or wishing luck to himself. In his every walking step and movement, it shows that he is waiting. Waiting for a follow-up notification on his outstagram account. Yes, it's been two days since that incident, from the first day of their first meeting. Seong Sun is eagerly waiting for Ji Ah's message with the notification of following back her account.
It's Sunday today. Ji Ah is on her leave for the next 3 months, with her best friend Min So. Meantime she wants to do some partime jobs, activities.
And about Seong Sun ... Ji Ah mostly forgets about him. She didn't once think about him in these 2 days.
Ji Ah is too fluent in English as she lived in Canada for five years after her high school graduation, so she thought of doing some freelance short working projects for translation, Korean to English. So she sat down on her chair opened her laptop and started to search for some freelance work in Korea. She gets a site for freelancer and applied her name to it. She filled out all her details and expected a call in real-time. After browsing for hours, she got tired and take a strong stretched in her chair. She gets up from her chair and turns towards her bathroom, her phone lights up from a call, she picked it up and said, "Hello".
The call is from her best friend Min So. Min So replied, "Hey, I've got great news for you"(giggling). Min So's voice was sounding like she is extremely happy, she doesn't have the patience to tell the news to her bestie. Ji Ah predicted something must be great happen to her so that she is this much happy about it, she asked her out " Hey, wait up, keep calm, (after few seconds), now say what happened". Min So took her breath and said "I'm going to get married, my boyfriend's parents have given their allowance and blessings to our relationship, our families have given their blessings to both of us in our marriage. I am too much happy, I can't even explain my feeling right now to you. There are a lot of butterflies flying in my stomach. I am so much happy". Ji Ah smiled, she was so happy to hear that. She said to calm down a bit and give a great congratulations to her, she said "Min So let's meet today evening and we will have a lot of talk with some snacks, okay! till then wait up and bye. See you this evening at our casual meeting place". Ji Ah hanged up her phone then unexpectedly her phone buzz, She got a message about a job and she immediately calls for it. It's from a director of the filming industry. She called and said " hello, it's Kim Ji Ah here, I have got a message to contact in this number for a freelance translator job. The person from the other side said "hello, I'm the managing director of the Leaf Entertainment Agency, we need a Korean to English translator urgently, we are willing to give you the job. Do you have some of your time tomorrow so that we can meet and proceed to work together"? Ji Ah happily said "yes sir I'm fine with it just send me the address and time where we can have a meeting. Thank you for contacting me". After the conversation, Ji Ah started to hop on the floor. She was happy that today is her luckiest day. She got 2 good great news today. She suddenly looks at the clock and the time was already 5:30, she hurriedly started to get ready to meet her bestie in the cafe where they usually meet.
Ji Ah enters the cafe, she saw Min So is already waiting for her with her boyfriend now-fiance in a glass window side. Now it's 6:15 in the evening. Ji Ah rushed towards her and hug her joyfully, she congratulates both of them. The 3 of them are friend from their elementary school. They studied together till middle school. After ordering some snacks and juices, Ji Ah said that she is going to work as a freelancer in her 3 months leave, and also today she got a call from an entertainment agency. They want a visa verse Korean to English translator. Min So just so happy that the same moment she joyously announced to trough a party right now. They all 3 enjoyed the evening joyfully. They too much beer until they get fully drunk. The 3 friends are that much happy that they decided to spend all the money they have with them at a most expensive karaoke house. They go to a nice and expensive karaoke and booked a V.I.P section room, they 3 sang a lot of songs crazily. Ji Ah has a bit low tolerance to alcohol so she suddenly gets a bit dizzy and tired after singing, so she excused herself and dizzily tried to go washroom to refresh herself.
But halfway to the washroom Ji Ah suddenly gets unconscious and fall to the ground. Her head hits the floor too hard. She remains faint for the next 10 minutes. Almost no one is there cause it's a V.I.P section. Suddenly a man appears and saw Ji Ah unconscious. Seeing her unconscious he immediately carried her into his arms and get back to his karaoke room. He entered his room and told his friend, who is a doctor to check on her immediately. His friend asked him nervously "Who is she? What happened to her? Do you know her? What did you do with her? Is there something you are hiding from me?"
He replied angrily that "YOU ARE A DOCTOR, I'm not. I don't know what happened to her, why she was lying unconscious on the ground. I didn't think about everything else at that moment so I take her with me so that you can check on her. So please rather than asking questions from me you should check her condition that how is she right now. Do we have to take her to the hospital? Is her condition serious?"
"Hey brother don't be so panic, this beauty is alright, by looking at her condition and her pulses, she just faints from tiredness and a high level of alcohol intake. I think she has a low level of alcohol tolerance. So are you alright? She doesn't need to be admitted to the hospital but she needs a bottle of glucose. So I think we should inform her guardian or the other with whom she came here so that they can take her to the hospital for glucose saline".
In the meantime, Ji Ah's friends came out of their karaoke room in search of her. They tried to call her but she doesn't answer the calls so they get worried. They started to follow the sound of Ji Ah's phone ringtone and keep calling her name. The man who picked her up, opened the door of his room and indicated them and invited them into the room. They rushed towards her asked the man what happened to her, Min So was not in her right state after seeing her friend like that, she started to blame that man for her condition. She thought that the man must have done something to her. The man's friend explains everything to her and suggested taking her to the hospital for a formal check-up. The doctor gave his business card to Min So's fiancee. They thanked them for taking care of Ji Ah at this time.
