Mina struck a pose- her tongue sticking out, one eye closed, and fingers doing a 'rock n' roll' sign. Only Rae knows what to reply afterward. If this girl isn't Rae, then she'd be weirded out. However, if this girl is Rae, she'd be striking the same pose as her.
When Rae saw this familiar pose, she instantly remembered Mina. As if on instinct, she struck the same silly pose with teary eyes.
"M-mina…?"
"Rae…!"
The two recognized each other and hugged each other intensely, earning surprised stares from the other invitees. Just what are they doing right now..?
The two didn't give a mind on the given looks and continued squeezing the air out of their body. They haven't seen each other for months! Finally, they met again, but this time, in a completely different place with completely bodies.
"Damn, you're freaking alive!"
"You're freaking alive too!"
"Hehe~!"
Mina ruffled Rae's neatly tied up hair, making the strands of her hair go messy. Rae did the same with the same fervor. They know they're being viewed with weirded out eyes right now.. but not that they care!
Some time after, Rae and Mina released each other from each other's embrace. As they exhibited such behavior, both explained their sides. To not harbor any suspicion, both Rae and Mina decided that they'd be saying that they met each other when they're young.
"Wow! What an interesting turn of events!"
"Yes, haha. I didn't know her name before, so I had no idea that she's the one I met from the past." Rae scratched the side of her face, feigning embarrassment.
"I'm glad we're reunited now. Right, my friend?" Mina nudged Rae's side gently, earning a small laugh from her. Rae nodded enthusiastically, "Hehe, friend~"
As the invitees were originally preparing to leave, Mina thanked them for coming today. The ladies also thanked her for such a warm accommodation. Rae decided to not go because she has to catch up with Mina, knowing that both of them have a lot to talk about.
"Until then, Lady Rozan, Lady Loraine." The girls bowed their heads as the two did the same.
After the brief farewell, Mina led Rae to her bedroom. It's quite a shock to the servants servicing Mina as she hasn't brought someone in before. As they've been working in the mansion even before Mina got into this world, they're well aware of their lady's behavior.
The previous Rozan hasn't brought a lady at the same age as her in the mansion. She doesn't want to have female friends, and only the author knows why.
Moving on, the duo finally arrived at Mina's quarters. Rae was utterly amazed upon the grandness of the room. It seems like Mina has hit the jackpot, Rae smiled in her mind.
"You've got a nice room, milady~" Rae glanced at Mina teasingly. When the servant accompanying them went out, only then the two further relaxed.
"My dream before was granted in this life. Look, I'm filthy rich!" Mina said jokingly. The two then threw themselves on the big, fluffy bed. Upon contact, their bodies slowly sank into the ultra soft mattress. Ah, heaven~
"This makes me remember the times I lounged in your room. Unlike before, we couldn't even fit in together, haha."
Mina chuckled quietly. "Yeah, the bed that lasted from childhood years to high school years."
"Man, I miss those times…" Rae glanced up on the ceiling of the bed. She felt so light right now. Is this what they call being on cloud nine?
"Do you think we can go home?" Rae turned her head toward Mina, who received her question with slightly widened eyes. She noticed the tinge of sadness in her tone.
Truthfully, she felt the same. Yeah, this life's good.. she got a pretty face, riches, glory, almost everything. However, those things would never complete her life. She still has a family to come back to in her previous world.
"Maybe.." Mina replied hopefully. "We successfully entered this world, so how can we not go back?"
Mina's words made sense, Rae said in her mind. "That aside, do you remember reading a novel whose characters have the same name as us?"
First, they have to make use of their advantages for their survival. Knowing the plot would increase their survival rate. Of course, they won't solely depend on their knowledge. It won't guarantee their safety.
Mina pondered for a moment, her index finger drilling on the side of her head, "Er, RoFan characters' names are never easy to remember. They're pretty complicated for no reason."
Rae sighed. "I know, right? But hey, our names weren't that ridiculously long. Loraine and Rozan.."
"Loraine, Loraine.. Rozan, Rozan.." Mina quietly mumbled their names, as if to recall a certain memory. She had read way too many RoFan novels and webtoons that she could no longer remember the names of the characters. She had seen Loraine and Rozan in many works, but none of them matches their descriptions.
Mina, despite mustering her all, couldn't even narrow down the information. It seems that they're reincarnated into the world they're not aware of before. It's possible, since they couldn't read all the works with that amount of time.
In the end, Mina gave up. "Dunno, I don't know at all."
"How about the novels we dropped?" Rae suggested.
"Ah, those crappy novels? We don't even remember the characters' names."
"Goodness~ we reincarnated without buffs." Rae chuckled silently. Well, they might be an ordinary citizen of this world. Perhaps, this world isn't even based on a novel. They must have assumed that reincarnation is always equal to going into the novel dimension. Aiyaya aiyaya~
