Three months after I left Wishe forest, it was already evening when I reached Altena and I registered myself at the gate of the capital city, the identity of adventurer and a member of Hephaestus Familia helped.
The main reason for my travel to Altena is because one of the most famous Magic Academy was present here which was led by goddess Hecate.
Altena Magic Academy__
My time of visit was not the admission time of the college, but I didn't want to join the college as an official member as it required the student to be in the familia of a god who was part of the academy.
Hephaestus had informed me that Hecate was a goddess who was very curious about interesting things, so I decided to use a magical television and memory device, I had come up with this as a bargaining chip to become a student of Hecate and get access to the academy library.
In the Headmistress's office, Hecate sat on a couch and I sat facing her, the goddess looked like a teenager with her petite body, she had pale skin and she was very beautiful with her purple eyes and hair. "So you are saying that you don't want to be part of any familia in the academy but be my student and get access to the library, in exchange you are offering a magic item that can record, store and display moving pictures. Have I got that all right" asked the goddess with a smile on her face. " Goddess, I am confident to finish the main device in three months, and then manufacture the memory device and sell it to you as it needs to be changed after it is full. I think it will be very useful in a magic academy like this to store knowledge." I said. I was not afraid of making the goddess suspicious of how a thirteen-something-year-old boy came up with such a device. As a mortal cannot lie in front of a goddess and I told her that it was a product of my brain and I had not copied it from any one of this world, as I told her the truth, technically she didn't doubt me and thought of myself as a genius. Even though the concept was not from this world I had spent many years researching to find the magical equivalent of the same.
The goddess agreed to my request and I stayed in Altena for three years, I transferred the academy library into my soul palace and also learned a lot from Hecate during this time. My lessons with Hecate included ritual magic, barrier magic, and also potions. Goddess Hecate's knowledge on varying topics of magic humbled me a lot, and I benefited a lot. Our relationship as a teacher and student was also very good as I respected her and she also seemed to like me a lot.
I also befriended the captain of Hecate familia, who was also the strongest in Altena, her name was Asteria and she was a level-five mage. I was sure that my increase in magical knowledge as well as my magic practice would give me some sort of skills for magic, I had got a skill called mind division when I had advanced to level four, and after a lot of practice, I was able to divide my attention toward three things at a time which allowed me to maintain three magic at a time. During my stay in Atlanta, I made a lot of money by making two wands which were treated as treasures, and also some very good magic items. I also bought many special materials and collected them in my backpack. For the next stop, I decided to go to the Far East which was ruled by the Goddess of Sun Amaterasu, she was the Chief goddess of the Shinto Pantheon same as Zeus and Odin of the Olympian and Norse Pantheons respectively.
