No one has dared to open their mouth about William's situation. And I thank them for it because I know I couldn't handle it. All I know is that he will be here for three days....well he has only one day left then he'll leave me alone for fucking good.
I really hope.
'I told you he was bad news.'
'Not now psychic, and don't play that freaking trick it's a little late for that now.'
I don't even check my phone knowing fully well that Jamie's been blowing because I've surprisingly manage to avoid all of them.
My covers are pulled over my head and I let out a frustrating sigh ready to burst out to the one at fault. My words are caught in my throat when I see Nathan looking sexy as hell I might add, with a bag full of junkies.
I look at him weirdly and all he does is gesturing me to get up and do my routine.
I enter the bathroom meeting the mirror, my reflection makes me want to runaway from myself because fuck I'm scary, I don't know how Nathan looked at me without cringing.
I finish my routine fast enough to see that he's already prepared coffee for me which I happily take. We both don't speak but I know he's got questions which I'm not going to answer any.
"Why are you doing this Nathan? Why are you being nice to me? " I don't mean to be a brat but I have to know why this is happening. He just shrugs.
"Everyone is worried about you and we all know you wouldn't do anything if it was Jamie here bossing you around."
True.
"So let's just say I'm doing you a favor, you'll have to repay this. Plus you would've turned into a zombie if I didn't come to your rescue." He says with a small smirk which I return with a pointed glare.
"Thank you." I tell him sincerely.
"Can I see what's in the bag." I ask him with excitement laced in my voice. He gives me the bag and my mouth hangs open after seeing everything he bought.
"You really out did yourself." I say absentmindedly.
Heres the time where my shitty brain snorts with a 'Oh! Mira you are so lame' statement.
"Don't pretend that you don't like any of it." He replies.
He strolls around like he owns the place, setting a movie for the both of us to watch. For the first time I get cuddled during a movie, his scent is intoxicatingly good that it does things to me. But I turn all my horny lusty demonic thoughts down.
We are half way the movie when he speaks up.
"You would rate the movie as the worst because you are not even concentrating."
I know. I've been spacing out.
"I want to know what's really going on in that mind of yours." He finally speaks in a small voice that it's so hard to catch but I do.
"Nothing that I can't figure out." I tell him but honestly I feel like am convincing myself and not him.
"I know what will cheer you up, get ready we are leaving in fifteen." With that he too gets to the door probably to get something.
True to his words we leave the cabin and walk to the direction that I know too well. We pass through the tunnel and this time with no difficulty, this time no taxi is waiting for us.
The city is busy as usual and all I can do is follow Nathan to where he's taking me.
We reach the park it's so peaceful here, the air and the people around. Kids are playing, animals bouncing all over the place, the pond and the flowers.... It's refreshing.
Nathan brings ice creams for the both of us and a bag of lays. We sit on a bench enjoying everything there is to offer in the park.
We watch everything in silence which gives me more time to think about everything. That's until Nathan decides to talk.
"You know all that's remaining is the rain to pour and us to kiss then voila! The perfect love story." I look at Nathan like he's grown two heads then burst into a fit of laughter.
"Where the hell did that come from?" I say as I struggle to control my laughter.
"I was just thinking." He says. "Also you girls like these romantic dramas like roses butterfly and picnics." I continue laughing not because of what he's saying but how absurd he's making it sound.
"Can't blame us we need to feel loved darling." I tell him.
"But you guys can literally be shown love in any different way, you just want to show off that your boyfriend considers your fantasies."
"I won't count it as a fantasy, say it's a myth that we are all supposed to follow."
"Myth huh!"
"Well yeah, I prefer being in bed and staring at my screen and the love of my life to being out with judgemental people."
"Aren't we all judgmental though."
"Fair point." I agree and sigh 'even if it's in the slightest things.' I add to myself.
"Well no judgement here. You can do you."
"Same here Nathan, same here." I tell him with a small smile which he returns. "And no matter how many times we get judged out there we will always remember that there's one who won't judge but listen and probably laugh at the other." I finish up.
This makes him chuckle, no matter how many times I look at him I don't get tired of how handsome he looks in every action he does.
"You know staring is not good Cookie." This statement gets me out of my daze.
"I was staring but at that cute little baby behind you." I tell him.
"You mean the ice cream guy?" Find another excuse fast.
"Ooh you missed him, he was buying ice cream and he had this pouty face..."
"Which you could see from here." He states, I can a smirk forming and I know that he caught through my lie. "That's some real superpowers Cookie." He says winking at me.
I look away from him to prevent him from seeing the blush that's never seized to amaze me with it's mysterious ways of embarrassing me.
"You can stare anytime you want Cookie, I stare too but not at ice cream guys."
"Haha very funny." I roll my eyes at him.
"You know Mira, one day your eyes will be stuck upwards due to too much rolling."
Wait what!!
I chuckle. "That's cliche Nathan."
"You must admit it's pretty smooth though." He pampers.
"Whatever helps you sleep at night apart from a candle light." I tell him.
"Hey! I don't sleep with candlelights." He argues.
"Sure you don't just like the way I don't dream when I sleep." I respond with a grin knowing well that I've mocked his baby memories.
