as andrew woke up he noticed he had slept really well that night when most nights he slept terribly, he slept so well he didn't wake up once.
then andrew got up from his floor and noticed the had the envelope icon in the corner of his vision again so he went to check it again.
when he looked at what it was he saw it was another message from the system and opened it.....
I hope you have adjusted to the system and having it, if you have I can now tell you how to control it.
if you say "status" you can see your status board and if you gain levels by doing quests or killing monsters you gain status points which you can spend on upgrading your status, but it gets harder to level up the higher level you are. you can also say "shop" and exchange money into items that may help you on your long journey.
also if you say "skills" you can see a skill board and unlock skills but to do that you need skill points which you can obtain by leveling up or by doing certain quests. and finally if you say "quests" a quest board will come up and you can complete the quests given for XP and certain other things. then Andrew sat back down on the floor and decided to try and see whether the commands would work.
so he decided to start with status then he said "status" quietly not to wake anyone up then a screen appeared saying.....

as Andrew saw the extra skill points he noticed a plus next to all the stats except mana.
he was also wondering why his mana was minus one so he decided to add one point to strength, one to stamina and one to agility so now they were all two points after he closed the stats window he felt a wave of strength flow over his body next he will check skills so he said "skills".
and the blue window opened again then he saw a gray box at the bottom of the window with a grey line coming off of it leading to another gray box.
then at the bottom corner of the box he could see it saying " available ability points: 1"
then he tried focusing on the gray box at the bottom of his window.
then another window came up saying " would you like to purchase the skill dash, rank F".
below that it had "yes" and "no" so he selected yes and once again felt the surge of power.
Andrew then tried focusing on the now coloured box to see if he could see anything else then a new window came up saying.....
Dash: rank F
dash is a skill that can increase the users speed by double for ten seconds in exchange for ten mana.
then andrew tried to activate dash and felt a surge of power but it was different from before because he didn't feel stronger, he felt faster.
so he tried walking around his room which he did eight times before his dash ran out but he did not feel tired at the end of it instead he felt like he had done no exercise.
he also felt no emptiness like what people describe when using mana, he still felt quite full.
