"Ahh" I woke up, and I was back to the freaking room from where I woke up earlier, was this all a dream?
"Miss Liezel you have to awaken thank God" A voice suddenly spoke beside me which made me flinch
"Oh God" I patted my chest and looked in the direction where the voice came from, and apparently, she was wearing a gown. And I think one of the people who chased me in my dreams.
"Apologise my lady," She said and then surprisingly jabbed something in my forehead
"Ouch" I whined sitting still, I must have a wound on my forehead. So it was not a dream, I put my head on a tree
"His highness would punish us as soon as he goes home, but I do accept it, it's our fault you have a bruce," She said making me pity her as she continued patting me I assume medicine for my forehead
"Ahh, ahh!" I groaned in pain
"Sorry my lady, I'll be gentle,"
"Ah, ah" I pull her hand away from my forehead and I glared at her seriously "What do you mean Lady? And Liezel? I'm Elizabeth, E-li-za-beth, and why am I here?"
"Lady Liezel? Are you not feeling well?" She asked me worried
"Obviously, my forehead is throbbing and I am in an unknown room" I protested
"You are acting strangely my lady," She stared at me weirdly "I'll call the doctor" She stood up and ran outside the room
"Great!" I shouted sarcastically
Without wasting time, I got up and quickly headed for the balcony, but disappointingly, it's locked "Pumpkin Pie!"
I then ran to the door to escape but once again, it's locked,
"Chicken noodle soup with a cherry on top doing the twerk and curvit!" I tried to release my anger by talking so fast without even cursing.
I tried every way to get out of this room but every way out was closed!
"Urgh!!!!" I shouted in frustration "My head hurts, I'm locked up in this darned place and I'm hungry!"
I sat down on the chair in front of the vanity
"I'm in front of the mirror right now, why not check my forehead?" I muttered foolishly touching my wound
I couldn't believe it, it was not a dream, yes, I knew about the forehead part but, the features, I still looked like that girl from the locket, with golden hair and brown beautiful eyes. I admired my reflection forgetting my hand was still on my wound.
The door suddenly opened and my head cocked in that direction alerted.
"She looks fine by me" A male's voice in doctors clothe said
As he went into the room, I could notice the people from earlier cocking their heads to the side of the door to peeking.
"Privacy please," The doctor said as he closed the room leaving us two alone. Weird.
"Who are you?"
"I apologize, Miss Elizabeth, I'm Doctor Bentley, nice to meet your acquaintance" He bowed
He then sat on the chair beside the balcony.
"Wait, why are you calling me Elizabeth?"
"Isn't that your name? E-li-za-beth?" He said with a 'duh' tone. And I think he was mocking me.
"I know that's my name but, how did you know?" I said backing my chair away from him even though we have a long-distance
"Isn't that what you said? Young Betty reported it to me that you kept denying that your name was Elizabeth instead of Lady Liezel" He said as he pulled a pen from his hat and started taking notes
"Betty? The girl from earlier who treated my wound?" I stood up feeling more comfortable
"She just dressed your wound I treated it yesterday when you were unconscious and yes, the girl from earlier, that's Betty, your most trusted lady in waiting"
"Wait a minute, MY trusted lady in waiting?" Imagine my shook face
"It's more likely, Lady Liezel's most trusted lady in waiting"
"I told you, I'm not Liezel, I'm Elizabeth, and I don't know how I got here-" I defended myself
"I believe you"
"-if you don't believe me," I continued to defend "I swear to God- wait for what?" I stared at him dumbfounded "You believe me?"
"Of course I believe you, please don't make me say it again" He sounded bored
"You believe me? Like BELIEVE believe me?"
"Are you deaf? The last time I did a check-up on Lady Liezel she was in good shape"
"But how could you trust me?"
"It's because," He sighed "This isn't the first time a cross body happened"
"A what?"
"Miss Elizabeth are you even listening?!"
"Yes I'm listening, but what's a crossbody?"
"This might take long, we'll need a cup of tea while we're at it"
I then ran and grab a pillow and sat in front of him patiently like a child waiting for the librarians storytelling.
"This might take longer" He disappointingly said
