Elliot looked conflicted. "I'm a va . . .Very strong believer in soulmates." I glared at him. "Don't lie to me." I growled. "I'm a vampire. I was blessed to have you as a soulmate because I was born a vampire." He said indifferently. "What?!" My head was swimming with thoughts. Was he going to kill me? How did he know we were soulmates? Was that why those strangers were telling me to kill him? Was he going to turn me? "Are you going to kill me?" I asked. I backed away from him. "I physically can't hurt my mate. That would mean killing a part of myself." He started walking towards me. "S-stay back! Stay away from me!" I dashed to the other side of the room. Elliot frowned. "Come here." He growled. "Why?" I asked. "You are my mate. I don't like it when you're away from me." He stepped closer. "I don't want to be your mate." I mumbled. "Yes you do." He snapped. I shook my head.
"I want to go home. I want to be left alone. Those are things I want." I tried to walk around him. "I promise Myaliah, if I had a choice I wouldn't have chosen you." For some reason his words hurt me more than they should have. "So go pick someone else." I snapped. "I can't produce heir with anyone other than my mate." He growled. His red eyes gleamed. "So find another mate." I hissed. "I only get one and that is you." His voice started to get deeper and his shoulders broader. "Elliot. What's happening to you?"
