"Father supper is almost ready. I specifically made the selections for the courses and baked the desserts myself." I eagerly stated. "Oh right! Lord Norris and his sons are on their way. Hopefully they'll make it in time for supper." My father really was slow at times. Did he really just think to tell me? It was too late. The selections were already made. I would have done things differently had I known. Hopefully they aren't allergic to anything. I hurried from the library to my room. If we were going to have guests, much less potential suitors, I should dress my best, even if I didn't like them. I selected a pale blue dress that had a pink undershirt. I slipped it on and grinned at the way it hugged my curves.
I exited my room and went into the kitchen. I waved over a servant. "When will supper be ready?" I asked. "In less than an hour. The table is already set and some of the food has finished cooking." He replied. I nodded and dismissed him. I left the kitchens and bumped into three men. I fell back on my bottom. I glared up at them. Their identical features told me that they were brothers. "Are you not going to apologize?" I snapped, when they had been staring at me for a while. I pushed myself to my feet and dusted my dress. One of them scoffed. "Apologize for what you were the one who bumped into us." He chuckled running hand through his hair. I rolled my eyes. "I don't have time for foolishness. My guests will be here any minute. Please get out of my way." I tried to say politely. The guy just crossed his arms. "I'm Nero Rofles. I am your guest." He whispered. I paled. Then blushed. "My goodness. I sincerely apologise about the way you've been treated."
