Seraphine's POV
After Maddie left I felt alive once again. She had that effect on people. I had missed everything about her. Her talks, cooking and advices have been fabulous.
Before the day of the second trial, my lawyer brought me good news. She almost knocked down a police man as she rushed to share the news with me that day.
" Guess What?" She asked with excitement . I did not understand what she meant so I just kept looking at her , making faces to allow her know how confused I was.
" Do you remember the witness at the court? Mr Steve....or Mr....." She said desperately trying to remember his name. I couldn't bear her calling weird names so I simply reminded her of his name
" Mr Scott, his name is Scott,my former car repairer "
She suddenly clapped her hand as soon as I said it as if she remembered the name on her accord.
" Yes Mr Scott..."
" So what about him ?" I asked
