" Oh hope she is responding to treatment? because she still looks weak though " Luther asked the doctor, the doctor assured him that all would be well and then she went out to see other patients but before she left I whispered the words " Thank you " to her for not revealing my pregnancy to him. She whispered 'you're welcome ' back to me as well.
Luther was a good company, he made sure I ate and took all the necessary medications and so I didn't even think about the problem I had at hand until it was late in the night and it changed once again when he announced his departure.
It felt like he shouldn't go because I was scared to think about how to handle the issue at hand all by myself. Regardless of how I felt, I bade him goodbye and he left.
After he left I brought out the pregnancy result I shoved under the bedspread. It was a bit rumpled, so I straightened it up and took a look once again .
