Chapter 49
I stood still and watched as the murderer ran into the woods. He wore a mask ,so I didn't get to see his face.
I walked slowly towards the cliff. Convincing myself that it was all a dream and that I'd wake up soon.
" Damien,pls come back i don't like this expensive joke" I said out aloud.
My mind was telling me it was a dream but my eyes wouldn't agree with me,they kept on tearing up.
"Damien!" I wailed,I didn't know what to do. It felt like I was losing my sanity.
Then all of a sudden I heard a loud sound down the cliff. It was obviously the sound of fire. The car went ablaze.
I sat on the floor trembling and I watched the smoke disappear into the sky.
" Is Damien dead?. No, he couldn't have died. Seraphine you must be crazy ,how could you think of something like that . Damien isn't one to go back on his word,he promised to take me on a date tonight " I assured myself repeatedly.
