Chapter 22
After the incident where she pretended to fall of d stairs,Mia has been causing a lot of troubles ever since then. Why wouldn't she leave for the city?it has been a week already since the party.
According to Damien she 'was' a friend how come she has been acting like she own the house. Sometimes ago she slapped a maid saying she stared at her too much. How insane?
Damien totally loathes her but the reason is she still in the house is what baffles me . I think she has a back bone, how could she have come to the party without being invited as far as I can recall only few people knew about d surprise party. Damien's friends,some members of the Daniels household and everyone living presently in the house.
Mia's POV
"Why does Damien loathe me so much?" is it because I haven't apologized for what happened between us?. But that was in the past.
Anyway I must have him to myself no matter what it takes,he is mine and no one would take him away.
I wished that his stupid wife was less beautiful though,then I wouldn't have bothered. I can see that Damien is all over her,at first I thought he was pushing me away because I once hurt him.
His father didn't tell me all this. I could recall the conversation we had that day vividly.
" Mia,I want you to take what is yours before it is too late" He said
" But He is married right?" I asked
" Yes but Damien doesn't love her ,he only married her for revenge . A party would be thrown for Damien next week Saturday,I would send you all you need " He said as he hung up.
I need to do all I can to make him mine. I can't believe I saw him as a poor village boy that has the opportunity to school in the city. I should have taken him seriously while we were still together.
"Now is not a time for regrets though but for action. Seraphine let's get started!"I said as though I was getting ready for a fight.
I would first find out if the feeling Damien has for her is mutual, because I really think Damien loves her. This is contrary to what his father told me. 'This would be hard' I thought.

It was about 6pm,Damien would soon be back from office,I already know what to do.
When I heard the car drove in I went into action. I had already planned all I needed for my plan to work successfully earlier.
I had my make up done,my hair fixed,nails done I wore an ivory strapless jumpsuit with heels. I went out through the back door so I wouldn't be spotted by Damien as I leave.
I got to the restaurant and sat down,waiting for the whole game to play out. I sat down waiting patiently for Damien to arrive. I already made sure that we would be the only one in the restaurant for the next hour, I reserved the whole restaurant for us .
I saw Damien drive in and packed. He stood by the door scanning everywhere trying to look for someone that is not even in the room.
Earlier ****
I told the maid to walk up to Seraphine,cook up a story about her planning a surprise date for her husband and persuade Seraphine to write a letter.
The maid came to me after successfully completing her assignment and I tipped her. I read the letter out aloud
"If loving you is a crime that I need to be prosecuted for,I will rather accept the judgement pronounced than stop loving you. I know you may be hearing this from me for the first time but that is how I truly feel. If you want to hear this from me in person let's meet by 7pm at Sunshine restaurant. I will take your absence as a rejection".
'Wow she really does know how to impress' I thought. "Well she only doesn't know that I would be using this to destroy her marriage" I said as I laughed.
Present moment ******
"Over here I said as I waved to him". He came over to me looking disappointed but tried to hide his disappointment.
"I wasn't expecting that you will come over to sit with me. You must have been disappointed that it wasn't Seraphine right? Judging by the way you are all dressed up" I said a little sad that I was right about him having feelings for her.
"What exactly do you want Mia. Why can't you just leave?"
"You" "I want you" I said.
"You may think I'm shameless but I don't care as long as I have you for myself. I know I hurt you in the past and I'm sorry " I said apologetically, sincerely wishing he would forgive me.
"Recognize this dress?,you bought them for me remember?. I was sincerely happy when you got them for me,I couldn't throw them out even after we broke up" I added.
" I can't do what you want from me,don't even expect it and then don't you ever try to pull stunts like you did today ever again" He said as he stood up to leave.
"I'm sorry but I can't let you go" I said as I hugged him tightly resting my head on his chest and smiling.
"Are you insane?" He said as he pulled me off him angrily.
"Do you love that girl?" I asked hoping he would say the dreaded word to my face.
"Yes I do,is that fine by you?. Now get this straight into your skull....." He said moving close to me, I could tell he was furious. I gulped and moved back trembling in fear.
"If you touch any hair on Seraphine's body or she accidentally gets hurt,you would regret ever coming into this world" He threatened after which he insulted me and then left.
"You may push me all you want but I already got what I needed" I said as I smiled looking through the glass of the restaurant and winked at someone.
