A young woman with ginger hair and green eyes was peering over the boat's rail. Beyond excited to finally get out into the field. This is Luci Armstrong.
Next to her is a taller man, at six foot five, who is a partner and close "friend". His name is Vincent, he is a holy man of Dios, the Divine Earth Mother.
Vincent cleared his throat before speaking. "Lucina do you think this is a good idea?" he asked her.
"Of course Vince, this is the last place people said they saw her." exclaimed Lucy while reading the map of Deces Isle.
Vincent rolled his eye while smirking, he then moved a piece of his black hair from his face while holding onto a pendent of a cross.
"Oh Divine Earth Mother, please grant us you're great protection on this journey, amen.". After praying, the boat docked.
With the eerie sound of it's whistle, the boat left the docks and Luci and Vincent went to the hotel they were staying at.
Luci flopped onto the bed in her night gown with a book in her hand. "Holy shit, there's a bunch of things on this island!" she exclaimed.
Vincent, who was meditating on his side of the bed with only his pants and pendent on, was relaxing. "There is no need for cursing Lucina.". As he was relaxing himself, Luci continued to speak.
"But listen there are so many enlisted monsters on this island, but no description. The only ones are the Vampire and Slime." she complained. "Listen here. 'The slime is a low intelligence creature that can range from the size of a mountain ram to a chicken. If encountered just ignore them, they only attack you, if you attack them.'".
Vincent then opened his eye, "What of the Vampire?" he asked.
Luci then flipped back a page then read " 'Beware of the Desatera, a.k.a. Vampires, they are a species of mammalian genus that work like ants, apparently the drones are eyeless, bald creatures with no hair, big ears, a large nose and sharp claws ment for climbing along walls, guards are giant bulky individuals with little hair but still no eyes, while the king mates with a female drone once per eighteen months, the king is always called a Drac and the mate is called a Vlad.' " Luci says.
"How do you spot a nest?" Luci pauses to look then reads. "They are found near canyons, in caves on cliffs, or in abandoned mines." she finishes.
"Look I get your dislike for them since you lost you're eye on that mission." Luci then gets up, gets behind Vincent on the bed, hugs him then starts kissing his neck while turning off their lamp.

The next morning Vincent woke up with Luci in his arms cuddling him. He then looked at the clock. "Hey Lucina wake up hun." Said woman was stirring when waking up.
"Yeah, ok Vince, but let's go get some breakfast first." she yawned. As she got up, Vincent went to take a shower, Luci got dressed then fixed her hair, and got ready for their day's plans.
As they walk out the door Luci is reading from the book she had. "So the Desatera are near the other side of the island, but that side is prohibited in order to keep the public safe, so they dispatch Hunter's to take care of them."
"And may Dios watch them." said the tall priest. As they came to a small diner, they read the sign. It read 'Breakfast House, breakfast all day every day'. The duo went in and ate there food. "Mmm...The waffles are so good here." Luci gushed. "Yeah, the food is nice." said Vincent. They soon then noticed a white haired woman in a large rimed hat eating toast in the corner.
