Ava's Point of View
The heaviness weighed on my head as peace and security tried to fight the uneasiness storming inside me.
It felt scary like I was going to die, but at the same time reassuring, because somehow something in me made me feel that I am saved...
I don't know why nor how... I don't know that thing, but it gives me the feeling I never intended to have before. The hope, the urge to live for another reason.
And that... scares me.
Tsk! My half-asleep mind just can't give it a rest, can it?
With closed eyes, I sighed a breath of relief, slowly letting the weight of my head completely fall on the soft pillow kissing my cheeks.
