Rubi was finally at the mountain range by now it was night and he just wanted a place to sleep he ran up the tallest mountain and found the perfect spot near the top to activate his castellum cube.
For those who don't know what it does in new world it is a very expensive item that well basically its a house that can be turned into a cube you can put in your pocket but a cool feature is the castellum cube is upgradable it starts out as a two story building but if upgraded enough can become a large fortress.
Which his is a large and mighty fortress Rubi took out the cube from his inventory he pushed all four sides and then I said "activate" then Rubi tossed the cube thing a large cloud of smoke appeared when the dust settled a large fortress the size of the Eiffel tower was there.
"That's so cool look at it my own freaking castle ahahahahahahahaha!" he said Rubi couldn't contain his excitement when he would see it in the game it didn't look half as cool as this he didn't want to waste any time he walk right up to a large slab of gray rock.
I looked at the slab then put my right hand on it a large blue glowing magic circle appeared and from my hand a smaller red magic circle appeared a key to unlock the door.
With a loud groan the slab started to move upwards leaving a large wooden door in its place I placed a hand on it and just pushed it open what greeted me was a magnificent golden hallway with a red and black carpet and tapestries with a symbol of a eastern dragon on them.
As I walked the halls I saw many glided candelabras on finely polished oak tables lining the corridors everywhere I looked there was a door to someplace I've never really been in every room in this place but there is one place I do know and is where I am going.
I walk down the hallway untill I saw a large obsidian door I enter and see a large room with a gray granite floor many purple and red flags with a dragon on them lined the walls. I walked on a red carpet until reaching a large solid gold throne it had hundreds of multi colored gem stones embedded into it with a red satin pillow to sit on.
For a solid gold throne it was quite comfortable the pillow really helps though after a well of sitting I grew sleepy and closed my eyes for just a few minutes when I opened them what greeted me was pretty creepy.
The entire throne room was full of well organized guys with sacks over there heads they were average height for a man roughly 5 feet 9 inches one was a little taller at 6 feet 6 inches his sack was gold instead of black like the others they all whore what you expect a butler to wear black tuxedos with black bow ties but the taller one had a red bow tie he was front and center.
He approached me gave a bow then spoke in a very polite tone "greetings to you my master" said mister gold sack head Rubi was really confused "um sorry who are you guys again?"
"Whaaaaaaaaaaaatttttttttttttt!!!!!!!" said the guy with the golden sack on his head "my lord I am the head butler Cornelius and these are the other butlers they don't really matter but how could you forget meeeeeeeeeeee??????"
In hindsight maybe Rubi shouldn't have said that now this guys freaking out "ok just clam down and breath its just been a while tell me who you are and without all the screaming please."
"Yes of course master we are the caretakers of your castle we came along with the castellum cube when it was upgraded to a fortress which may I remind you was a few YEARS!!!! ago my lord" said Cornelius then Rubi remembered these guys are the ones who kept my castle clean they were just NPC in the game though looks like they kinda became sentient at least the screaming guy the others kind of emotionless they just stand there not speaking or moving guess they still behave like NPC.
But as Cornelius was having a panic attack it hit me if these guys who were NPC before and are now basically alive then all the others must be alive to Rubi sat up and ran towards the dungeon in the basement were all his beasts are you see in the game Rubi paided a guy called the ultimate beast tamer which is his actual gamer tage by the way to train a bunch of rare and incredibly vicious monsters which he put in his basement.
If they are there he had to check on them to make sure they are actually loyal to him if not there's gonna be a lot of fighting in his dungeon tonight. "oh shit shit shit shit SHIT!!!!!" Rubi said as he ran to the stairs that lead down to his basement dungeon Rubi stopped half way down the stairs remembering all the other things he had down there like all his slaves heh don't judge me in New World you could buy slaves they were like your party members they would assist you in battle among other things.
As I ran down the stairs I finally reach the dungeon it was a long dark hallway with large iron bars froming prison cells in side almost everyone there were slaves or monsters he walked down the hallway checking every cell to make sure everything was here there were all manners of fantasy races and monsters I counted every single one there was two in each cell well the ones with demi humans at least the mosters were in single cells because they would probably try to eat there cells mates.
Man there were hundreds of demi humans and monsters just how many did I buy in the game I was known as the richest player when I came to coin I had enough to last a several millenniums its how I could afford to keep so many of these- but I couldn't finish my thought as a unruly slave lunged at me with a what is that a knife made out of ice?
I looked and saw a female ice elf with a death glare starring right at me a yeti was her cell mate I remember I bought these guys and a few others at the town of perpetual winter a place that only has one season I am pretty sure you can guess which one it is.
Man she looked mad as hell she had blue skin white hair and eyes that were black where the white should be of course she had pointy ears she is a elf but the yeti quickly pulled her back realizing that she could be killed for attacking me.
I just looked at her with a pitying gaze then walked off which only enraged her more as she was now thrashing against her bars like a animal as the smarter yeti tryed to clam her down not wanting his cell mate to get into trouble.
I kept walking until I made sure everything was here then I walked out getting a few death stares from my slaves I returned to my throne room and sat down happy everything was some what okay not perfect but okay at least for the time being.
I was surprised to see Cornelius still ranting about how I should know him I was really stressed so I told him and the other butlers to get back to work after they left I ended up falling asleep right on my precious gold throne.
