Judge Thomas played with his blue robes, leaned back, and exhaled heavily. He wanted people to see how hard it was for him to find a way to keep his money and head. His decision weighed heavily on him. He had to be careful, or he would be the one on the chopping block. The courtroom, silent and expectant, waited for his words.
"Judy and I have taken into consideration all the evidence," Judge Thomas overacted, as sweat poured down his head. "Our decision is as follows. I remind you to remain composed. This is a courtroom, not a bar."
Judge Thomas took a deep breath, looked around at all the people in his courtroom, and hoped this would work. "Baron International has raised fair points about the financial health of M.L.M. There is a clear lack of prudent decision-making at M.L.M. This means that the company is more likely to fail, the fallout of which would devastate Mars as a whole. This risk must be managed."
