The lifestyle players felt abandoned by Nineth Immortal. They were hunted and killed all over the province of Pikon. NPC bandits were the worst, as they swarmed them due to increased hostility over the brutal takedown Nineth Immortal had performed on Pikon's Bandit General. Unfortunately, in her haste, she had not started the quest, nor accepted any subsequent missions that triggered, meaning that the guild was unaware they were at war with an NPC faction—albeit a small one.
To add to the pile of problems, the small guilds randomly attacked members. Where before they would have been pushed out, they now managed to get a foothold in the various hamlets and farmsteads. Hell, even a few villages had already been lost, especially those in the high north of Pikon. This didn't help the forecast for the guild, as it was hemorrhaging money and its stock value dropped.
