Similar to how Carnage had thought, the fears that everyone respectively faced in their illusory worlds were only surface level. Although it startled them at first as it had caught them unawares, they soon began to think of ways to conquer their fears.
One way or another, everyone's thought process led to that 'key' of breaking the illusions because of two major reasons.
One, they were familiar with their fears and when the realization struck that it was exactly what they were facing, they didn't hesitate in trying their luck out and two, there was nothing for them to do other than that. In a way, the illusion itself pushed them onto the edge, where they had no choice but to face their fears.
And so, the first one to have that realization was the old man from the Harita tribe, who had nothing else to do but to stare at the inner part of his coffin's cover.
With a twisted smile, he release the mana he was accumulating from quite a while and muttered,
