"Which gate?"
"Huh?"
Danulo turned to look at Hans, who looked as if he was just going through a routine procedure, one hand supporting his chin and another behind his back.
Wondering if something was wrong with him, Danulo asked nervously,
"What gates do you mean, Chief?"
When Danulo's voice fell on Hans' ears again as he was contemplating the most effective ways of reaching the legacy, the irritation that he was trying to suppress burst forth. Unable to help himself, he gave his accomplice a shout,
"DANULO, HAS YOUR MIND STOPPED WORKING EVER SINCE YOU SAW THE PAGODA?"
For the second time in quick succession, Danulo felt his face heating up slightly and grasped what Hans meant by 'gates'. He was referring to nothing but the two grand openings that had appeared in front of them.
