"How do they even chew it? This thing is so tasteless. Meat is so much better."

Bretta bumped on his head with her fist and explained,
"You little buffoon, do you eat meat raw? You've also eaten cookies and bread made from it before, don't act as if it's your first time consuming wheat. It just needs to be processed and cooked before it is available for eating, no one eats it raw.
Also, don't go around eating anything else as well. This isn't what I meant by food grown on farms. Berries grow in soil too, do you chew soil and complain about its taste."
Daney understood what his mother was trying to say but catching the sight of Sephalia trying to suppress her laughter made him unwilling to accept it,
"But I've eaten meat raw before. It wasn't as bad."
