Everyone was still using only their first and second skills, with the exception of Long Yi and Yumi who have only used their first skills. The tension was still brewing. Himei swings her leg high, her body moving ever faster than before... It felt like she had never let herself be this loose before... Back in the normal world, it had always been a matter of holding back and suppressing her capabilities...
If she were to accidentally lose control, she could annihilate a large part of her own territory, it was a given that she would suppress herself... But there was no such consideration here! Long Yi blocks the high kick with the back of her left palm, she uses the opening to step closer and infiltrate Himei's space. Himei uses her remaining left leg to propel herself as fast as she could, opening a large distance between each other as she launched magic projectiles.
Her second skill's hold over the world was beginning to crumble with the destruction they were causing, but she was still able to use her ancient magic. A few bolts of lightning are conjured, shooting forward at unimaginable speeds while lighting up as brightly as the sun for a few moments. Collecting information from all eras, Himei forges a single blade composed of every legend. Representative of her world's myths, an amalgamation of every story known to man, [Future promised by a bladed wish; Eleminya]
It looked like a simple 2 sided one handed steel blade. But the gleaming from the steal was not the reflection of ambient light, it was the release of dense magic energy. Swords that have ruptured the world, swords that have forged the future, swords that represent hope, they all hand in her grasp. She who witnesses all of history and beyond, also observes the worth of every blade and every life in existence... The miracle of sentience pushes into the next level of evolution, beyond worth and appreciation. The blades also 'observe' her worth, granting her all of their abilities.
" For the sake of the world... Grant me victory!" (Himei)
Her figure reappears in the distance... But she hasn't vanished yet... Her figure split into 2, 3, 4... Numerous quantities of her visage appeared at once. Naturally accompanying her appearance... Was the attack she launched. Every figure vanished at once, with the exception of 1.
"... KAGHH!!!" (Long Yi)
"URGH!!" (Yumi)
"...?!" (Ari)
A movement beyond speed, beyond the level of an instant. The concept of victory burns itself into reality as if they had already won from the very start. The 3 destroyers begun to vanish at the point that they were slashed on their body, half their body mass had already disintegrated from the initial attack.
Long Yi spat blood out of her throat, the splatters of dark crimson floated into the ancient air. The ancient world that Himei had superimposed over the grey void has already dissolved to some extent, allowing the void's influence to take hold of their immediate surroundings. Their magic was infinite in quantity and intensity, the presence of these magical girls easily eroded the superimposed world. If it was the modern world, it would have suffered the same effect, with the earth ending as they spoke.
"Ugh... You under stand... This first group of destroyers are strong enough to annihilate the other team... But this team... Can not die..." (Yumi)
"Not to mention... [An external long held wish, inner Catastrophe], I will never let your attacks do damage." (Long Yi)
"... You think a fancy name will help you?" (Ari)
"[Blessing]." (Amelia)
All of their attention had been focused on Himei's sword, even though it could do any lasting damage... It still worked to take away their concentration. Amelia impaled Yumi through the torso with her arm, causing her to groan loudly in pain.
" Did you think the rest of us stop existing?" (Amelia)
Countless spears of unknown colours rain from the sky, their texture akin to the static of an analogue television. Their constantly changing colours was similar to joyeues, the sword of king charlmagne. But her magic was not limited to swords, nor was it limited by any quantity or quality. Huo Li could produce as much of the material as she wanted. So she created enough to block out the sky and more.
She spun her scythe faster, almost dancing through the rain of spears she had unleashed, her mastery of movements here was completely unrelated to her magic. She had legitimately trained her agility to the point that it allowed her to dodge rain. Whether it was water or spears... Arguably, the spear rain was even more dense yet it didn't post a single bit of hindrance for her. Under the rain of spears, she was able to hide herself and launch surprise attacks. The entire battle field had been consumed by her at once, without as much of a single word...
She pushed her body beyond its limits, constantly searching for a new standard of power to stand on, improving without end. This was an application of her final skill, [A maiden's median of a world's end] which applied the end-world environment on herself. Fitting to its name, it is an environment that could end anything that couldn't resist the magic's effect.
Usually most enemies would find a way to dodge or destroy the magic's effect, so to record, nobody could resist the magic's effect but herself. The 'end' applied on her serves as a source of constant resistance... But also as a source of constant improvement. It erodes at her soul, but her soul overcomes it with willpower, leading to natural improvement.
A large gash appears in Ari's back, she turns around, her mint hair swaying between the spears that brush past her. Some of the spear's strike at her flesh, steadily increasing the number of wounds on her body. Most of the spear's fall under [Petty denomination] and shrink into the size of a toothpick, it was rare for the spears to slip past her awareness and strike her effectively, so... Most of the wounds on her body were caused by Huo Li's scythe.
More lacerations appeared on Long Yi's skin, more wounds that would end the battle appeared all over her body, but they vanish without a trace thanks to [cataclysm]. Amelia also appears, using [Revelation] to rob Long Yi of her senses. Ari enters the fray, launching bolts of lightning at the both of them. Himei dodges the attacks and Amelia uses [Blessing] to have the attacks miss. Himei rushes to fight off Ari while Amelia continues her assault on Long Yi.
While the destroyers were admittedly difficult to eliminate, they haven't shown anything that the allies couldn't handle. The battle continues to be a stalemate... But that is also when they have to watch out for new elements. New elements don't even have to be unrevealed skills...
"[An external long held wish... inner Catastrophe]!" (Long Yi)
"[Blessing]! Divine technique-Foundation that defies fate!" (Amelia)
Long Yi uses her cause and effect manipulation, pushing forward the effect to the present, resulting in an instant attack landing on her target. Amelia's magic of [Blessing] was the crystallisation of a payer's effect, throughout history they were meant bring in a miracle for the good of humanity or the good of the individual! Narrowing every possible future to the optimal result and forcing the best possible reality to occur. No, it's even beyond that, it breaks through the theoretical limit and forges a future that is even better, it brings a miracle that did not exist within the bounds of destiny.
Breaching the boundary of the predetermined fate, what is a miracle if not the defiance of fate? As such, she deviated from the 'effect' that Long Yi brought forward. Long Yi's predetermined 'effect' that she desired from her cause and effect manipulation... Was cleanly deviated from. Amelia's [Blessing] was the perfect counter, but it was not a one sided advantage... It was a zero sum situation. In other words, whoever used their skill more would have the advantage.
When Amelia completely negated the effects of Long Yi's skill, the fact instantly dawned onto the 2. [Revelation] was not necessary, their years of experience and intuition practically laid out the answer before their very eyes. No more holding back, the other side wouldn't just let up and let the other walk all over them. They have to fight for their victory! They have to pry it out of the cold dead hands of their opponent.
"Full scale... Continuous deployment, [Blessing]." (Amelia)
"Looping results, delivering reinforced destiny, [An external long held wish, inner Catastrophe]! " (Long Yi)
Amelia laid miracles one atop another, exponentially increasing her power without any limits in sight. Long Yi overlays the present with the 'result' of her stronger self... The more she accelerates and reinforces her strength in the future with her magic, she brings it to the present with all of her might. 2 pillars of light, white and yellow explode into the sky and the abyss, with the 2 individuals serving as the origin of these pillars.
"I will bring forth the result of your world's end!" (Long Yi)
"[Revelation] tells me... You simply had this disposition the whole time. The only thing your environment did, was accelerate it. You are wholly evil and malicious because you abet the world's end, that is enough judgement for your sins." (Amelia)
Their figures vanished at once. They both had accelerated without much hesitation, the environment zooms past Amelia's vision as her body blasted beyond light speed with momentum alone. They allowed each other to say their piece out of respect, their allies were long forgotten as their gazes locked onto one another, determined to put an end to their life. This was a battle between 2 seemingly infallible gods, neither could predict the outcome for once... But that's what made it so exciting!
Her figure felt like it was being carried on a rocket or a roller coaster, Amelia raises her right feet, predicting where her opponent's head would lie. When the 2 finally stop, forcefully because of a collision between 2 unstoppable objects, they stopped being unstoppable objects... Amelia's black nun habit shook violently behind her like a hero's cloak in a storm, her white undersuit was skin tight and revealed her hands and feet, on her feet were a pair of black slippers.
The slippers collided against something that seemed as hard as metal... Would be how a normal person would describe it. It was an ostensibly indestructible wall. On the other side, it was actually a reddened fist, her dragon embroidered jacket shared a similar fate and trembled vigorously under the pressure of their collision, when she leaped forward she had put all of her body weight into her fist, her entire body was primed to make the most out of this one cross punch. Long Yi's rough pale blond hair fluttered to form roughly 2 twintails.
The twintails seemed to be a product of her magic bringing a desired 'result' into reality. She hadn't noticed, she had paid all of her attention onto Amelia. One could say that Amelia negating her [cataclysm] skill had set off both their egoes like the fuse of an explosive. They were both rearing their ugly prides in the other's face, desperately aiming to prove their dominance.
Their collision continued to generate an endless amount of energy, it never stopped releasing shock waves that practically became denser and denser over time. For some reason they were only getting stronger, their clashing concurrent attacks are only getting deadlier and more destructive. Cracks appeared in reality itself under the sheer amount of energy, they were both using magic that roughly dealt with the concept of 'destiny', so they were corroding at reality at the same time with overuse.
Reality was like a physical law, defying it for a bit such as a rocket escaping the earth's atmosphere... Was only temporary. It would immediately repair itself. So cracks in time and space and the like are not natural states of the universe, everything eventually returns to their natural state... Himei's ancient environment finally shatters with their clash as the trigger.
"... The powers you borrowed will now vanish." (Yumi)
"My second skill was struck down, my first was stolen. But the third cannot be stolen. Do none of you really understand? What it means to be the sole observer of the universe?" (Himei)
"... Brag on about your fancy titles, even if they mean anything... Nothing can escape destruction. " (Yumi)
After all, it is the fate of all things. But, just as she has this much faith in their leader Arasovi, Himei believed just as much in her allies who were facing Arasovi.
"... Silence, you insignificant peon. You really have as little awareness as a useless speck in a dream. Final skill. [Perception dances under the sole observer of the universe] ." (Himei)
