"Tch! I'm not going to back down after climbing this far!" (Milixane)
Other than arms, this time legs, eyes, Jaws and separated fingers also befell Triney, wreaking havoc across the land. An arm twice the size of the statue of liberty struck the ground at speeds unimaginable for it's size, causing itself to crush the ground and embedded itself into the earth, followed by a shock wave that spread in every direction. The aftermath was a devastating shock wave that thoroughly churned every bit of stable ground into a spiky mess of random hills.
There was no longer any flat ground as far as the eye could see. The moment Triney emerged, the legs surrounded her, the eyeballs stood on standby ready to absorb her magic like before and an army of fists rain down on her like a rush of punches from a certain show. The move at such high speeds that their figure's blurred out of sight, only becoming visible from time to time when they slow down after colliding with their target.
"Two can play at that game, [Paraphernalia Dominion]." (Triney)
A stupidly simple magic that creates furniture and processes it, through training and thorough mental reformation, she can now recognise a broad myriad of objects as furniture an produce or amplify them, processing became enhancing. A single wooden leg of a chair arose from the ground right in front of Triney, from her perspective all she could see was a collosal brown wall that blocked out everything from her sight, even the sky. The chair leg had the width of the Mediterranean Sea.
"DO YOU LIKE THIS?!!!! I WAS INSPIRED BY YOU, SO I'LL BE GOING ALL OUT!!!!! GO, FULL POWER ULTRA BEARER OF THE RIVETING FURNITURE!!!!!!!" (Triney)
The romance of naming a special move comes as a package with strength. Her heart couldn't beat any faster, she couldn't feel anymore exhilaration or adrenaline if she wanted to. She never felt this pumped up before in a very long time, it felt like the barrage of magic that Milixane threw at her instead hyped her up.
Her energy levels grew high, but how could she be high if there is no limit in sight to compare to? She pumped her skill full of magic, creating a giant chair leg and enchanting it with magic resistance, durability enhancement, attack enhancement, blunt force potency.
The giant chair leg encroaches on Milixane like an unrelenting behemoth that will never stop. This was where her second skill showed its true worth.
" [False furniture]." (Triney)
She whispered. In an instant, 5 more copies of the giant chair leg flew out of nowhere, thrusting through the air like giant rockets aimed at Milixane. [False furniture] causes some furniture summoned to be fakes, so the enemy could be confused. But it could also summon illusions of furniture that were already present to further disorientate enemies or...
They could make all of them feel real. The enemy would feel pain but only receive the damage from the real one. She summoned the one true furniture, the cherished anvil forged by the forces of the moon and earth. Although it was said the be an anvil, it was shaped and functioned like a sword. With their sizes in question, Milixane could not escape. Surprisingly she could only feel the force from one side, when she opened her eyes, her flesh was thoroughly shredded up and continuously burning, but the other chair legs vanished.
Before she could recover, Triney wielded her cherished anvil, forge and foundation of the world, Atlas. With a single swing, a brilliant light was left in its trajectory, the light continued to expand forth like a 2d plane or a piece of paper that cut through the sky. This plane then exploded, burning off the lower half of Milixane while she summoned arms to serve as buffer against the attack.
The legs and eyes flew up, one of the fingers struck Triney in the back, puncturing her back and spine, she turned around and slashed it into pieces with her beloved anvil. With a few more slashes, she kept a distance from all the rest, but a fist came flying towards her back. Its force smashes into her back, breaking numerous bones as she flew towards the other undead familiars.
She lost her balance as the impact finally broke her spine and control over her body. Magical girls could substitute such vital parts of their body with magical particles, but she had other plans. Countless chairs materialised in mid air as she feel forward, they smashed into the floating undead limbs that attacked her. As if matching the limbs in size, chairs of a similar stature materialise to stamp their toes or fingers.
She noticed when her initial attack hit Milixane. Even the undead feel pain. Maybe it was some sort of [Holy enchantment] on her furniture that allowed this to happen, but there was no time to theorise. Only to capitalise. She picked her body back up in the middle of the chaos and leaped forward into the air, straight towards Milixane. A small foot stool fused with an amalgamation of random furniture rose out of the ground, pushing her right leg upwards as she flew through the air.
Combining the acceleration of the furniture with her own speed, she rushed past the clouds just to reach right in front of Milixane. From this distance, she could see her pale skin reflect beautifully under the moonlight even if its hue was besmirched by decomposition. Her fingers moved on their own, carrying her sword at speeds unimaginable even for herself, her wrist rose with great strength as if an otherworld force was pushing it forward.
She felt great, her senses felt heightened and her body seemed to move at tip top condition. She entered the zone, a rare state of mind that athletes get into. It seems to be one of Atlas' effects. User enhancement, her holy enchanted furniture sword cleaved through Milixane's torso before anyone noticed, Milixane anticipated the attack seeing Triney rapidly approach her but couldn't observe the attack itself which went by in a flash.
A burst of blue light sliced through the atmosphere, creating a ravine in the sword's trajectory, as if it created a new layer in the atmosphere for itself. Milixane with her bisected body... Flew forwards with her top half, catching Triney off guard. Usually magical girls who get bisected will try to make some distance to buy time for themselves to regenerate, she was also high from her own combat performance that she presumed Milixane will follow the same trend without doubt.
Milixane exploited this opening by directly reaching for Triney's neck, both hands clasped tightly with an audible crunching sound, blood bursts out of Triney's mangle flesh that had turned to bags of ham that flailed over her collapsed spine. She had effectively been decapitated, but let alone an S grade, an A grade had a high chance to survive decapitation with a B grade having a low chance. Lower grades mostly wouldn't survive without the intervention of a skill.
"Fufufu, fufufu?!" (Triney)
Her hoarse laughter without a windpipe surprised even herself. At some point, magical girls who were decapitated could substitute their missing voice with magical particles. A maliciously beautiful smile adorns itself inbetween her cheeks like a blooming bouquet, as if the morbidity of decapitation had never reached above her neck.
Milixane's arms were still grabbing ahold of Triney's neck, she effectively crushed everything in it which functionally decapitated Triney but plenty of tissue and cells still connected. She was still in one disfigured piece. Looking at Milixane's scrutinising gaze that was filled with an ominous sense of danger and panic, Triney couldn't help but laugh even more.
Atlas shot out of her neck to pierce Milixane's eyes. She manipulated Atlas to secretly float behind her body then to pierce her own neck, striking Milixane who was right in front of her. Really, who was the zombie here? Triney could slow her Milixane's regeneration and inflict pain, while she could only struggle and attempt to maul Triney in vain.
Countless hands surfaced from Milixane's body, her collar bone, her shoulders, her chest, her tummy, her waist, her armpits, her elbows, her forearms, her back. All struggling to pull Atlas out and slow down the penetration, melting into its blade like candle wax. A large jaw surfaces into view behind Triney, swallowing her head.
Atlas dissipated back into magical particles, with Milixane struggling to shift her undead brain elsewhere in her body to protect it. Thankfully, she relocated it somewhere near her shoulder. She panted heavily at that near death experience, it was a shock to see someone sacrifice their own body without a hint of hesitation. Well, in the end it was merely a surprise attack that she barely made it out of. The jaw that swallowed Triney was quickly riddled with spikes.
Forcing the teeth open, Triney climbed out to stand in mid air with Atlas in hand. Her entire body regenerated. Even though the giant floating jaw was supposed to swallow and chew her into nothing. When she felt her senses below her neck vanished, she created some furniture to bear the pressure of teeth and tongue attempting to ingest her. Then she skewered the entire structure.
There was no decisive end in sight, so things had to accelerate to the next level. Milixane activated her second skill, her Prava phantasia was already thwarted before and when using Prava phantasia, the burden of superimposing supernatural laws over the laws of the real world prevented the activation of skills. It was more like, Prava phantasia occupies all the 'space' available for adding new laws to the world, so her own skills which were components of it would have no 'space' to come into existence.
[Valiance that were once buried]
Flicking her wrist, a roughly black beam with an indescribable texture rushed past Triney's body. Atlas barely deflected it since it was an energy attack. Atlas offered countless minor protections, but that attack was akin to a test drive, it had no real power behind it. A beam of death, that's all she could describe it as. It looked as if it was squirming as it was shot, countless bony skulls, arms and legs surfaced just to pull each other down into it's murkeist depths.
She felt like it was the gate to the next world, if she was touched by it it would pull her into the world of the dead. An instinctual fear takes root in her heart, causing her heartbeat to quicken in response. Instantly, a large wall of black appears in front of Milixane. It was a portal, there's no use trying to slash at it with Atlas or any furniture. It was an energy attack that-
A sword plunges out of Milixane's forehead. After the first beam, she used [False furniture] to replicate an expression of fear while sneaking off. Using Atlas' camouflage function, she snuck behind Milixane. None of Atlas capabilities could rival the law bending ability of [Valiance that were once buried], it couldn't slice through space and time or create portals. It could theoretically create and maintain a world but it couldn't cut through one.
It was the greatest Stick in the world as long as it wasn't compared to skills. It had natural optical, auditory and olfactory camouflage, boosted user regeneration, enhanced durability and automatic weapon repair, high enough magic resistance to even resist attacks from God magical girls for a short while, minor energy attack deflection up to A grade, boosted user combat performance(zone simulation), adaptive enemy weakness module(holy), [maximum serration], full temperature, pressure, magnetism and pH resistance, and finally natural gas and substance filtration.
The holy enchantment slows down, almost stops the rate of regeneration for undead creatures, but how would magic exactly recognise what is undead and not? It doesn't, it doesn't discriminate, everything will have its regeneration slowed to some extent. The faster it is, the more jarring the difference between regeneration and no regeneration, in particular the undead who especially rely on their regeneration would sometimes even get disoriented completely.
Triney lodged her sword in deeper, then she drags it up to bisect her brain. She changes the enchantment module to fire and sets it ablaze. The lower half vanishes into ashes as the crisp flames continue ravaging what was left of Milixane's head, accelerating its decomposition and breaking it down further. Miwa and Sufia were facing the tengu and the divine knight in a duo battle. They weren't winning persay due to the knight's annoying ability, it was keeping them in check while preventing the demon side's demise from Miwa's indiscriminate bombardment.
Triney joins the battle.
