CEO Zhang and Li Da Zhan were discussing with the doctor in charge to know about Chen Rou Jiao's condition. In the same time, Xie Rong stayed by her side, chattering with her best friend.
Chen Rou Jiao was able sat on the bed now. Only need a few minutes to gain her energy after lying on the bed.
She glad Chen Rou Jiao finally wake up after days of lying on the hospital bed, unconscious.
Xie R ong wrapped Chen Rou Jiao's pale hands with her own. Her eyes fixed on Chen Rou Jiao.
Upon seeing Xie Rong's expression, Chen Rou Jiao giggled.
"What with the long face? Nothing bad happened to me right?"
Xie Rong pouted. "You lied in bed for 3 whole days, how come I am not worried, especially you become like this because of me."
"It's not your fault." Chen Rou Jiao tightened her grip to Xie Rong hands. She tried to change the gloomy atmosphere with her weak smile.
Although she knew even if she tried to convince Xie Rong, that girl will never stop blaming herself. It's not her fault, it was Yu Sheng's.
Chen Rou Jiao remember something.
"Hey Xie Rong,"
"Hm?" Xie Rong looked at her curiously. "What?"
"What happened after I passed out?"
"Aa.. about that." Xie Rong pursed her lips.
Chen Rou Jiao squinted her eyes. An confused frown marring her pale face.
"Why?" she asked softly.
Xie Rong sighed in distress. She avoid to look Chen Rou Jiao to the eyes, she just lowered her face.
Chen Rou Jiao shake Xie Rong's hands, "What happened?"
Xie Rong lifted her eyelids, "CEO Zhang saw what Yu Sheng had done to you and he immediately ordered the guards to capture Yu Sheng. He is now at the police station."
"WHAT?" Chen Rou Jiao was shocked after heard that. She never thought that this problem get worsened until it involved police.
"Well he deserved it." Xie Rong pouted. "He dare to hurt you."
Chen Rou Jiao was unrest after knowing what happened to Yu Sheng.
"You need to release him."
"No. not until he apologize to you after what he had done."
Chen Rou Jiao exhaled roughly. She stared at Xie Rong with guilt and depressed. How to make Xie Rong realize she had make a wrong move since the beginning.
"If Yu Sheng knew how much you care about our relationship, he will be ashamed of his doing."
"Aiyaa, You two became like this because of a mere problem that's not worth to argue for. You even left the house. Can't you understand his feelings?"
Xie Rong recalled that night, after the heated argument with Yu Sheng, she went to Chen Rou Jiao's apartment and sleep over there. Even until today, she hadn't returned to their house. lLike today, Chen Rou Jiao also scolded her childishness for arguing with Yu Sheng because of her.
Xie Rong still not admit defeated. Yu Sheng had his part for their fight too. If only he did not uttered those words out loud, they could still get along. Although Yu Sheng's hatred towards Chen Rou Jiao would never died down in a short time, at least if they were together right now, she could have brainwashed him.
"But... Rou Jiao," Xie Rong stared at Chen Rou Jiao with her round eyes. Act like a child who wanted Chen Rou Jiao's attention after she fight with other child. "You must support me."
Chen Rou Jiao tilted her head. "If you guys fought about anything else, I will totally on your side." She chuckled. "But I am the topic here, and everything he did to me is because of you didn't want to forgive him, I must fight for my safety now."
"Chen Rou Jiao....." Xie Rong pouted, but Chen Rou Jiao did not fall for that type of persuasion.
Xie Rong gave up at last.
CEO Zhang entered the room.
Chen Rou Jiao watched him came to her. Only now she realize CEO Zhang looked different when he wore a casual t-shirt. Although with his cold expression, his style in this moment would still get attention from the ladies.
Every single meeting she had with CEO Zhang, he always in his office attire. Even when they went to the site together, CEO Zhang Ren Hao would never once put on simple shirt.
Looking his new appearance gave Chen Rou Jiao a bit shocking experience but she absolutely never showed it on her face. She rather kept it inside, or else, no one would predicted what that guy will do to her.
Plus, according to Xie Rong's explanation of what CEO Zhang had done to her when she felt unconscious, she must not talked bad about him.
"Are you okay now?" He saw how pale Chen Rou Jiao's face was, and he asked out of concern.
"Mn." Chen Rou Jiao nodded one time. "Thank you for your help at the office."
"Don't mention it. It is my duty to help my staff." He said with cold face. Chen Rou Jiao nodded again. She had no idea on how to continue the conversation when CEO Zhang had that cold expression. She just scoffed awkwardly.
"Sir, where is Mr. Li? Isn't he with you earlier?" Xie Rong realized the absent of Li Da Zhan when she looked around.
"He left a while ago."
CEO Zhang took a seat on the side of the bed, across Xie Rong.
"Pity." Xie Rong sighed.
Chen Rou Jiao caught her, and knitted her brows, "why?"
Xie Rong cheered when Chen Rou Jiao asked that. She had a thrill story to tell her friend.
"You know? Mr. Li stay with you when you unconscious. Never leave your side for three day." Xie Rong was excited to tell Chen Rou Jiao that. She even asked CEO Zhang to be her witness.
CEO Zhang nodded.
"Now I wonder how you guys get so closed until he spend his time for you although he had project to focus on?" Xie Rong tilted her head.
Chen Rou Jiao needs time to understand the whole story. She was bewildered and stunned with what Li Da Zhan had done for her until she could not uttered a word to answer Xie Rong curiousness.
Then the figure she saw at the time she opened her eyes was really him?
