"Hey, have you heard? The top student from CS caught yesterday for possesing drug in her dorm." a female student enlightened her friends in the cafeteria about the shocking news she got earlier.
"Who? Senior Chen Rou Jiao?" the girl who wear rectangle shape spectacle asked that female student curiously. The female student nodded.
She could guest right because the one and only top student in Computer Science who managed to get full marks in every exam was Chen Rou Jiao. No one had beat her in this past 10 years.
All her friends paid attention to her shocking news while enjoying their breakfast. They stayed at the different dorm with Chen Rou Jiao and due to the sudden inspection last night, they had no idea about the situation happened to their neighbour.
"Isn't she also the one who being accused stealing exam paper last year?" she asked again.
"Yes. But she was proven innocent back then. I think this time is real." the female student replied with determination written on her face.
"What a fuss. We are having our exam in just two weeks. But that senior will make everything in chaos." the spectacle girl sighed deeply.
The first female student chuckled. "Hey? Isn't you like Senior Chen Rou Jiao? You are her fan right?"
"I am her fan because of her out-going personality, but if she really taking those illegal substances, I will despise her from now on."
the girl with spectacle declared.
"Let us wait for the final conclusion from our college management." the female student hope that the board member of their college will give severe punishment to culprit like Chen Rou Jiao. "Let's go. Our class will start in 10 minutes."
They were getting ready to leave the cafeteria when her other friend with short hair, who sat next to her asked, "Who tell you all this? Isn't it supposed to be confidential information?"
"Senior Chen Rou Jiao's roommates, Senior Chun Hua and Senior Pei Xin." the female student said casually.
Two days since Chen Rou Jiao was brought to the police station about her drug case, many rumours move around the college saying she got great result because of she was influence of drug. While some of the students arguing with that, most of them mocking her attitude.
They even made jokes about the issue. They wanted to ask which drug did she used to have good result. Or did she used the drug to have nice posture. Nevertheless, they wanted Chen Rou Jiao get severe punishment for her case.
Yu Yao irritated to listen all those rubbish since day one. Everywhere he went, the topic was the same. All the bad things about Chen Rou Jiao though there was nothing confirm about her case because she still being interrogated at the police station and had not return since.
"I can't believe they dare to talk bad about Chen Rou Jiao like that. As if they know her personally." Yu Yao, out his hands on his waist, while expressed his frustation to his friends, Li Da Zhan and Long Wei at night in their room after a moment of pace back and fro in front of their double-decker bed.
Li Da Zhan and Long Wei were sitting lazily on Long Wei's bed, which at the below, focusing on their mobile games, thus they were not paying a lot of attention to him.
"So you know her personally?" Li Da Zhan asked while his eyes still focus on how to defeat his opponent in the game.
Yu Yao looked at Li Da Zhan, "No.. not really." Li Da Zhan smirked when he heard that. "But... I knew that she won't take that thing. She is too pure to do that."
"Becareful Ah Yao... you just blinded by love." This time Long Wei speak up his mind. His brows were knitted because he had hard time in the game. "Da Zhan, cover me."
Yu Yao pulled the chair from the study table and put it near to Long Wei's bed, and sat on it while his upper body leaned toward them.
"The me in love with her is not a denial, but I defending her is not because of that. Rou Jiao is really innocent." No matter how much Yu Yao telling the truth, his friends not interested for that. They busy to win their game right now.
"Shall I asked my father to deal with the police?"
"Yeah. Then everyone think Chen Rou Jiao is really guilty." Long Wei mocked his intention.
Yu Yao sighed in distressed. He laid back and face the ceiling. "What should I do now? Chen Rou Jiao must be scare at the police station right now. Has she eat? Do the police officers treated her badly? Did she get enough sleep?" he murmured.
Yu Yao concerned made Li Da Zhan annoyed. Why on earth Yu Yao had so much time to think about that wicked commoner? Just mentioning about her made Li Da Zhan lost focus and received a few kicks and slam from his opponent.
"Shall I visit her? I can ask my father to arrange that." he jumped excitedly, thinking he had opportunity to comfort the love of his life. Asking that will not trouble his father's reputation with the general. Chen Rou Jiao also will not face any disadvantages. He could confirm that.
Li Da Zhan rolled his eyes. Luckily he and Long Wei won the game despite Yu Yao disturbed his focus. He put his phone down and shot a glare to Yu Yao.
"You will interrupt their investigation if you follow your stubborness." Long Wei commented. He, like Li Da Zhan, also annoyed with Yu Yao desperateness to save Chen Rou Jiao.
In his opinion, Yu Yao was too immersed in his feeling made him could not think like a sane person. Though Long Wei had no experience on how the law worked, however he knew if Yu Yao still wanted to pursue his plan, he might put Chen Rou Jiao in danger.
"Right now, Chen Rou Jiao's reputation in front of others was not good. If she made any wrong step, she will face the mocking and may been bully by those antis. Can you help her every seconds in her life? What if she decide to end her life because of your stupid move?"
Yu Yao lost of word listening to his preach. Even Li Da Zhan could not utter a word either to agree or deny.
"But she...."
"Why do you love her so much?" Li Da Zhan burst out. He must do something to make his friend realised he was in love with someone who was no match with him.
Yu Yao shot a serious stare towards Li Da Zhan. "Why do you hate her so much then? Do you know what she had done for you?!"
Li Da Zhan had no idea why Yu Yao had to be mad about, but he was furious with the way Yu Yao rise his voice toward him because of Chen Rou Jiao. He get up from the bed and immediately grabbed Yu Yao's shirt.
"What do you mean?" He barked. Yu Yao did not answer. He just stared at his friend with full of hatred. "Spit it out!"
"Hey! Hey! Stop it you two!" Long Wei quickly break them apart and stood between the two lions on fire. He took a glance to each of them, seriously.
"Why would I say it to you? You only take her kindness for granted."
"What the good deed she do for me? Don't pull a joke with me!"
Yu Yao frowned. He was a bit stunned with how Li Da Zhan said that. "Are you pretending or do you really don't remember?" his tried to speak calm and relax, but still he furious with his friend.
"WHAT?!"
Long Wei acted quick before anything worst happened.
"We should go to bed. It already 11 p.m., now off you go. We will settle this matter tomorrow when everybody cool down." Long Wei being like a mother and dragged Li Da Zhan to his place and Yu Yao to his bed. Li Da Zhan and Yu Yao still stared at each other but just that. They did nothing beside that.
Long Wei had never seen Li Da Zhan get so emotional like that for the years they knew each other. And Yu Yao too. Chen Rou Jiao's vibe made him see a new side of his friends. However, he wondered if he should thanks her or hate her for that contribution.
He turned off the light and went to bed. Before Li Da Zhan and Yu Yao fight again.
