Silja turned around and wiped her tears away.
"Say, Donovan, how many more things are there that I have yet to know," she asked.
"Nothing anymore," Donovan shook his head.
"Are you sure? What about the actual reason you married me?" Silja looked straight into his eyes.
"Your father knew that I'm a witch and I could help you lift the curse, right. That was the actual reason he brought me here to marry you," Silja took a few steps back and again sat down on the chair she was previously sitting in.
"He knew that if he asked straight, my family would never agree to take part in your battle, so instead he made you marry me. I became part of this in a way that I don't have any other choice than to help you," she guessed it all correctly.
"And you…you also did what he said. You said you love me but in your heart, you knew the only use you have of me was my bloodline. You just wanted to use me don't you," Silja scoffed at herself.
