Daniel looked at Irene's face who was trying to dare to look at him. There was a clear tear stuck in the corners of Irene's eyes. And Daniel actually wanted to wipe it off her face. But his hand was stuck in the air. Daniel's mind was in a mess. He had to prepare himself to hear from Irene's mouth.
'Is it true that Irene has something to do with what happened to Hana?'
"That day, I experienced something that not many people know. I don't know if I can tell you this or not," said Irene, starting to shed tears.
"What do you mean? Don't say that you caused Hana to be hurt," said Daniel in a trembling voice.
"I didn't do it. It was someone else."
"Others who do you mean, do you know it?" asked Daniel. He already felt a tightness in his chest.
"Daniel, if you knew about my situation, would you still want to marry me or would you just leave me?" Irene asked.
