Daniel then stroked Irene's hair until Irene finally fell asleep. Daniel then rearranged the blanket covering Irene's body.
Daniel's gaze was very sad to see Irene who was sleeping. Daniel's heart seemed to be rumbling in there. A thousand questions in his heart to Irene felt like a war drum that kept pounding. But he didn't even ask Irene that one question. He felt that if he asked that, Daniel was too afraid to accept an answer that would disappoint him.
Daniel slowly backed his feet while looking at the peaceful face of Irene who was now asleep. Then he slowly walked out of Irene's room holding her tight chest. Stiff because of various questions that made him curious about what happened that day. And what was Irene thinking that made her like a person who lost her mind.
"Why do you want to go home? I just wanted to deliver a drink?" said Mariana.
"I have to go back to the hotel, I have a lot to do, ma'am," Daniel replied with a smile.
