"You think I wanted to do anything I did? No, I didn't. But we don't all get that choice." Shiro says while looking up at the sky.
"Then tell me why I have to do so damn much." I reply while falling down to my knees.
I've been drained so much lately that I don't even know why I kept pushing myself the way I did. I keep telling myself it's for a good reason and that I am the only one who can do it.
But in reality I don't believe that's true at all, I've been fighting against everything for so long that I'm tired. Is it wrong for me to admit that?
"Emotions get the best of us all Mika. That's why I knew you'd appreciate what Zetavin did for you. I couldn't do that for a long time." Shiro says while kneeling down before me.
"Emotions? Can't someone just be drained?" I ask while sitting there.
"Yes but we have to get back up. No matter what the reason is, we do it because we know no one else will." Shiro responds.
