I got to take a look at Ella's body before they buried it and to my surprise she died with a smile on her face. Maybe even if she knew death was about to fall upon her she knew we'd be proud of her no matter what.
I'm definitely proud of her and I'm proud of this whole damn party because they stood up against hordes of enemies and prevailed. I heard all about it and that's something I wouldn't have expected of them.
Life throws many things at people and this was something my party took and threw right back at it.
All of us have had hardships throughout this journey and I'm sure they will continue to grow from this. God I wish I would've been around upu all longer.
That's what hurts most about seeing Ella, I regret not spending more time with her. It was so long ago that I left all of them but yet for me it was mere minutes.
It's still hard to comprehend but one day I'll learn more about this cruel fate that fell onto me.
