Silver's POV
I woke up at the alarm on my phone. I turned it off and looked around. That's right, Yuan and I moved to an inn last night. I looked at the time and it was already 9:50 am. I felt my stomach grumble so I grabbed my glasses and stick and decided to buy some in a nearby convenience store for our breakfast. I wanted to bring Tyrone but he's sleeping so I guess I'll just go alone.
"That will be $120 in total." The lady at the counter said. I just took the plastic and left. Walking back I heard a cry somewhere nearby. I followed the sound and it came from an alleyway far from a crowded area.
"It's just a bag miss. Hand it over and we'll leave you without harm." A man said. I can't clearly see him since I am a bit far away and I can only see his back. There are three of them and it seems that they are robbing a woman.
"No, please. I'm begging you this is all that I have. I have a sick brother at home and he only has me to live. Please just leave me alone." She begged. I got closer and had a better sight of them. I can see that she's crying while tightly holding her bag. I can see a yellow aura around her. Slowly, her form changes. There's a ventilator in her mouth and an IV beside her. I can hear coughing in her mouth and her hairs are slowly falling till she turns bald. Her tears slowly turn to red like blood.
I stood up and fixed myself. I pretended to walk there like as if I were heading there. I tapped my stick as I walk closer which caught their attention and looked at me.
"Hello? Is anyone there? I heard someone sobbing and thought someone was in trouble. Hello?" I asked and continued to walk. They noticed I was blind and one of them whispered something to the girl.
"If you make a sound your dead." He whispered. The girl just nodded and looked at me with a smile. Guess he forgot that 'I can't see'.
"It's fine sir. No trouble here. My sister was just crying because she hurt her legs so bad. Everything is fine sir." He lied. The girl was still sobbing silently and was about to walk away when one of them, who seems to be the leader, grabbed her arm to stop her.
"Oh, I see, my bad. Then can one of you at least help me? I stumbled here earlier on my way to the store. If you could just let me through here then I'll be fine. One of your friends can help." I smiled. They just agreed to it the leader asked one of them to help me. He took my arm and gently supported me as I walk. When we were closer to them I paused for a while and started talking.
"Oh, I just remembered something." I suddenly said. They all looked at me curiously and then I just smiled.
"Aren't you wondering how I knew you were not alone? I mean, there are three of you." I said with a smile. Everyone was surprised and just stared at me.
The man beside me was about to grab something in his pocket when acted fast and kicked his legs. He fell on the floor and the other charged at me with his knife. I hit his legs with my stick and hit his hand which makes him drop his knife. The other guy from earlier manage to stand up and was about to attack me from behind so I stepped aside and he fell on the ground in front of me. He got up fast and looked at me with a fierce look. He was standing closer to me and he pointed the knife at me. Before he could even move, I kicked him at his calf. And took 5 big steps back. He was about to attack me again when he suddenly felt pain in his calf and started groaning in pain.
While he was down, the other got back from pain and started attacking me. I was about to hit him in the solar plexus with my stick but he manages to manage to catch it and pulled my stick and threw it aside.
"What you gonna do now huh?" He said mockingly. He slowly walked closer to me and I moved backward. He took a big step closer and was about to hit me when I quickly hit him in his Adam's apple. He was coughing in pain and was on the ground. The other one got up and was about to punch me I grab ahold of a stick beside me and hit him. He was on the ground unconscious.
I walked to pick up my walking stick and looked and looked at the man who looked scared while holding the girl.
"S-stay back. Or I'll hurt her." He said and picked up and broken glass and pointed at the girl's neck. Honestly, I was scared that he might actually hurt the girl but I remained calm. I just looked at him. The surrounding suddenly change. That's new. Usually, it was just them that was getting odd and everything was still the same.
I take a look around saw that we are at the hospital. An abandoned one that is. We were at the door of a surgery room. I looked back at him and was shock at what he looked like. His clothes were torn and it was covered with blood. His right arm was bleeding and his left leg was wobbling. I looked back at his face and I almost throw up. The left side of his face looked like it was skinned and his right eye had melted into its socket. I heard him groaning and saying something that wasn't really clear.
"Hep us! Et us out!" (Help us! Let us out!) He said. Then a persona appeared behind him and had a syringe in its hand. I couldn't tell whether it was a girl or a boy because it was wearing a PPE. He suddenly injects the syringe into his nape.
I snapped back and saw that he was sweating. He's doing this for surgery. I just noticed that he covered the left side of his face with hair and his hair on the other side reached on his cheeks. I was about to attack him when I heard someone coming this way. He needed money for his face.
"I'll give you this watch. I think this will be enough for your surgery. Let the girl go. But I need something from you first." I said. He was surprised at what I said but he let the girl go. The girl ran behind and stood there.
"I'll leave with you. I'm afraid he might hurt you. And thank you." She said when I was about to tell her to leave. I just shrugged and looked at him again. He was standing shaking and waiting for me to say something.
"I need to know what hospital was it. Is there any detail you can tell me about it?" I asked. A yellow aura started to raise in him. Other than seeing strange things in a person I can also see colors in them. Well some of them don't have but some do. He was shaking first before he slowly answered me.
"I don't know who you are but please don't take me back. I promise to bring you guys I new one." He shakingly said. He went down on his knees and pleaded.
"I'm not who you think I am but I need to know about the hospital you're talking about. And what do you mean by a new one?" I asked. I am running out of time. I've been out for so long and I'm sure Yuan will be up by now looking for me.
"It's Castle Community Hospital. That's all I can tell you." He just said it then left. He dropped a paper while running. I walked closer to pick it up. I don't know what it is. I was full of scribbles in it. I know this is important so I kept it instead. I turned around when I heard a phone rang.
"Oh, sorry. I'm coming there right away." The girl answered. She looked at me and smiled.
"Thank you so much for today. I want to repay you with something now but my brother needs me right now., If you don't mind, can I have your number? I'll treat you some other time." She asked. I just nodded and gave her my number. She thanked me again and left. I just followed her with my eyes and decided to go as well. I looked around if someone was there and put on my shades walking back to the inn.
Someone's POV
Wow! I've never seen someone like that before. He's cool. He could be a great thief with his act.
"I gotta say, he's good. But we still need to do our job. Call them." Einstein demanded. I was about to protest when he pointed his finger at me.
"Okay, okay, I'm on it," I said and grabbed my phone. It rang 2 times before it answered.
"Speak!" The other line answered with a scary demanding voice. Hoo, the chills.
"Hey, boss! It's me. You're boy A-" He cut me off.
"I know who you are. Now report to me." He demanded. I cleared my throat first before I answered.
"Ehe ehem. So, we found your runaway dog. He's going around looking for money and a replacement. But we have some news for you. So I heard you were talking to your friend the other day about you looking for a kid. The little genius and the blind one. Well, we found the blind one." I reported. He was silent for a minute before he answered.
"That's great. Tell Hunter to follow Earl. You go and follow the blind one." He said then cut off the call.
"You know, he's so far the most, not rude person I had ever met." I sarcastically said. I looked at Hunter. "The boss said you follow the dog and I follow the blind dude." I said then he left. I'm not mad. He needs to catch up since he ran away fast. I stretch myself before I looked at where the blind dude left.
"Time to hunt."
