At Bennie's place, Ruby saw the building where the restaurant was being renovated. However, Ruby didn't see any 'construction workers' there.
Bennie and Ruby sat at a table in the dining area. She looked every left and right but still did not see the activities of the workers.
"Where are the workers?" she asked Bennie. "Are they resting?"
Even though it was late afternoon, it was no longer break time. But they don't exist.
"That's exactly it!" Bennie took a deep breath. Sitting back in the chair, looking up at the sky.
He continued to say, "This is the problem I told you about earlier. The workers went on strike, because the pay I gave was said to be insufficient."
"How can it be like that?" Ruby asked, surprised. "Are you giving them a fee that doesn't match the market price elsewhere?"
If that's true, it's only right that the workers go on strike. Maybe Bennie's wages are not appropriate.
