"Where are you from, Ruby? Mama looked for you out of the house, but you weren't there," asked Mrs. Emmy when Ruby came home from the wheat jelly shop.
"Juan asked me to run in the morning and then I was invited to have breakfast at the cafe," Ruby answered.
Juan had been home since ten minutes ago when the two of them came home from the breakfast shop. Juan's watch was already seven forty-five. Because of that, Juan decided to leave without going back into Ruby's house.
"Then where is Juan now?" asked Mrs. Emmy while looking around for Juan's figure.
"He's home," said Ruby.
"Why don't you ask him to house first?" asked Mrs. Emmy again.
"Look at the clock, mom!" Ruby pointed at the clock hanging on the living room wall.
"Ah yes, you're right. He must be getting ready for his shift," Mrs. Emmy guessed.
Ruby was about to look into her room to get ready to take a shower, but was blocked by Mrs. Emmy.
