Prince Aerus couldn't hide the smile on his lips. This was the best day ever. Less than an hour Lia asked him to leave, now they could talk again after a piece of good news came.
"Don't laugh like that!" Cindy snapped angrily. No one seemed to understand her grief. She would lose her best friend!
"Sorry!" Prince Aerus cleared his throat while glancing at Lia. He saw her massage her forehead. "I laugh because I'm happy."
"I know!" Cindy grumbled. Her hand reached for the nearest sofa cushion and then lap it. "Soon you will live with your mate. I can understand how happy you are."
"Thank you," Prince Aerus nodded without empathy. Even after he knew Lia was glaring at him he could always shrug his shoulders as if he was the most innocent creature in the world.
Lia shook her head as she embraced Cindy. "This is nothing. I will always call you. Besides, you can see how sophisticated Hexa's tools are."
