Prince Aerus whined when Lia refused his kiss. He even tugged at the hem of his wife's shirt repeatedly, for the sake of the kiss to happen. However, Lia firmly shook her head.
"Cindy is confused right now. Go now! We'll talk again after I explain everything to her slowly," whispered Lia to Prince Aerus. She glanced slowly at the sofa, where her best friend sat absentmindedly as if unconscious. "Please!" asked her seriously.
"Just a kiss," whined Prince Aerus again, who was now pinching Lia's chin and trying to bring his lips above hers.
But every time he tried to do it he would get rejected. "You are mean!" he protested like a child.
Lia's brow throbbed. It's like she had two children she had to take care of at the same time. One child needed mental support. While the other child was too crazy with attention.
"Later, please," Lia reassured him while squeezing his fingers. "I'll call you right away when I'm done calming Cindy down."
