"You do know what happened to me, don't you?" Neil asked back. He beat his chest repeatedly. "You know about that." His voice was low.
Lia turned her head away, while she was holding back the frustration in her head. "Do you have to do this? Did you have to go this far?"
"He can't even make you happy. He left you. You look gloomy all the time." Neil's face reddened. It seemed like he wanted to cry. "Am I wrong if I want to see you happy?"
"I am happy with Aerus."
"Are you for real?" Both Neil and Lia fell forward, almost hitting the dashboard of the car, when Neil suddenly braked the car. The engine was still running while Neil cast all his eyes on Lia. He asked to be convinced. "Are you really happy with him? He left you, Lia!"
"He'll be right back!" Lia also raised her voice.
"When?"
"I do not know!"
