Fortunately, Lia had taken the gene communication device from the foreign disc in front of her eyes. So by the time Neil came into her room and slammed the door, the disc had disappeared and hidden. And Lia had hidden the gene communication device beside her body.
"What is it?" asked Lia as calmly as possible. Her body sat upright on the bed which was a bit messy, the effects of her sleep were not understandable.
Neil shook his head after combing the entire room. "I was just checking on you. You seem to have shouted." That's just an excuse.
Lia raised an eyebrow. "No," she shook her head. "I didn't scream at all.:"
"Then did you see something earlier?"
Ignoring Neil's suspicious eyes, Lia frowned. "What do you see?"
Neil's suspicious face slowly disappeared. A faint sigh could be seen. "It is nothing. Go back to sleep! If you need anything then you can call me."
The door closed as Neil returned to work in the common room.
