It was a relief to know that Zizie wasn't called in for an interview. Neil had already got some of the employees he wanted. Now the cafe formation was more complete, and it was hoped that it could facilitate the provision of data and also service to customers.
As usual, Lia was escorted home by Neil, by car. On the way, the man was still discussing the motorbike gift he wanted to give to Lia.
"You contributed a lot to the cafe, Lia. Accept my gift."
However, Lia remained in her position.
Cindy had returned to her apartment, back to her usual activities. So Lia stayed and slept alone for the next five days.
When Lia got out of the car, Neil gently grabbed Lia's wrist. Their gazes fused, throwing each other some complicated feelings.
"How long will you wait for Aerus?" asked Neil as if in desperation. His voice was hoarse and pitiful.
Like being slapped, Lia was shocked. "Why are you suddenly asking that?"
