Yins points of view.
Yin had a hard time containing her shock, Kira had been an outcast and a drifter before being born here on this world, she knew it was not her place to ask, but Kiras power was obvious to anyone, the only thing she could get to make sense was that those in charges of the packs who took Kira in likely had felt threatened and made her life quite bad, and out of kindness had Kira decided to become a drifter and look after lost cubs on her own instead of retaliating with the force she easily could have.
The respect she held for Kira increased many folds in that moment, and was slowly drifting away from her association with Inari.
Yin contemplated deeply how she could best fulfil Kiras desire, every bone in her body had already submitted to Kira, and it was extremely hard for Yin to not to act on that, she doubted anyone who hadn't experienced when Kiras so called instinct took over could ever understand how deep the respect went, she had noticed that she couldn't feel even a spec of that aura anymore, but it didn't matter the moment had practically imprinted itself on Yins mind and glancing over towards Shino suspected that she was very much in the same boat.
Yin was however questioning herself how much of Kira suppressing that part of her would do her any favor, she was a sight to behold, and quite frankly looked like a spitting mini version of Inari, with bright silver fur instead of the celestial white, but as she came back out of the room had Kiras fur taken a even brighter shine to it than it had prior and nothing but divine could describe it.
After Kira had mentioned foxfire had Shinos expression lightened quite a bit, Yin was unsure if Kira realised the reason was likely the simple fact that she was allowing Shino to be of service to her, a bit of jealousy was creeping into Yins mind but she also realised she held the advantage as Shino could only serve in the limited fashion as an instructor where Yin could be around all the time, and as long as she kept the few rules in mind would Kira only be pleased, bowing, kneeling, honorifics and otherwise showing the position of servitude was not allowed but as long she refrained from that had she figured she would basically have a free pass to serve Kira as needed, and that fact made her very proud.
somehow she had s slight feeling Kira wouldn't approve if she knew what Yin was thinking right now.

Kiras point of view.
Yin had started smiling to herself like a fool and Kira didn't have the faintest clue what was causing her mood to improve this much, but ultimately she guess it didn't matter as long Yin was happy, Shino also seemed to be in a good mood, so ultimately it seemed to Kira she had managed quite well in making them understand her position and it was nice not having to deal with that hirachy servitude bullshit, they were currently being lead to a field behind the shrine, as it had just been harvested and only dirt and eath remained was nothing flammable, which meant that Kira could try to release her foxfire without anything burning to the ground.
it would be quite nice to be able to reheat my food without needing help, it made sense as they had foxfire and her area was only inhabited by foxes, but having access to a stove or any kind of normal fire would have been nice, the human section likely have this.
she had been quite puzzled by how or why the humans was here at the shrine, Yin had seemed quite adamant about the human race being close to the spawn of evil, and the traits she did mention was quite typical the human race, but having such a different instinct to adhere to could Kira also understand how it could be hard to look at the humans way of living and see the individuals instead of all of them as the same.
feeding into her own hypocrisy by thinking this Kira had to admit that she had a hard time even understanding the kitsune culture and she was smack in the middle of it, if nothing else their approach seemed just a tiny bit animalistic in terms of almost following the tropes of a cliche werewolf novel, then again the species of Vulpes aka the different fox species all share the same traits and behaviour is wolves and coyotees.
They did however seem much more caring of their Kin and Shinos outburst earlier had made Kira a bit happy as Shinos values had shined trough bright as day along with taking care of all these cubs, she didn't have to do this and most humans would just have left the kids to fend for themselves if you don't include the occasional kind heart but those were limited not to mention that getting funds is often a struggle for a lot of orphanages, the human races willingness to put new humans into the world without either the interest or ability to take care of their own spawn was still something that gave Kira a bad taste in her mouth.
They had now arrived at the field, it was surprisingly large and looking around was it hard for Kira not to marvel at the prospect of managing a harvest of this margin without the use of human tools like harvesters or other modern day machines, but again she didn't have enough information so she decided the age old answer from inconsistencies in all books and movies .... Magic is the answer, don't know how or why then the answer is quite simple .... Magic.
Shino stopped them from walking further and spoke up, "Thank you for giving me the honor of being the one to teach you about foxfire and control, this is normally the first step for any Kitsune into growing up and is often a milestone handled by the cubs individual parent, but as you can see are we caring for quite a few cubs who unfortunately lost their parents in various ways
First Kira in your case do I want you want you to open your hand and then remember the feeling of releasing your spiritual presence but instead of releasing that do I want you to try to feel yourself for your inner fire, once you find it do I want you to try to release that in the same way you would with your spiritual presence"
Kira did as told and closed her eyes in an attempt to find the so called inner fire, she had partially cheated with her energy as she had just latched on to the feeling from the memory provided, but in this case did she have to find it all by herself but she didn't particularly feel any different, she tried to focus on herself, she could feel her tail swishing from side to side in frustration but she couldn't really find the so called fire that was mentioned, to try to see if she could feel something did she instead release a tiny bit of her divine spiritual energy, and she felt, it was almost like electricity was running trough her body, locking it down again it felt almost like she had wrapped that electricity up in a box, she could still feel it, but now having something to to on she now searched herself after another box, it wouldn't be surprising if she in her denial had completely locked up the foxfire, and low and behold in the same location she felt her divine energy locked up did she feel another box with what could only be described as liquid fire, instinctively she knew that fire was not something to be trifeled with.
looking up at Shino did Kira hesitantly ask
"Uhm, something tells me that maybe this isn't as good an idea, is there anyway to limit how much I release, I might suspect releasing it all at once is a bad idea"
Shino smiled back at Kira and replied
"We all know you're special, but you are still just a Cub, I should be able to handle whatever you throw out powerwise"
Kira couldn't help but shrug her shoulders, "I guess you know best" she said and released the lid on her self imposed container and pushed it all out as she had been instructed.
with a massive whush did the entire field explode with bright azure blue flames dancing in a pattern, it started at the ground and want far up into the sky
Both Yin and Shino gaped at the sight first of all they were Azure blue, not white secondly each one of them could kill but they were somehow perfectly controlled not dealing any heat out of their radius but touching them would be an extremely bad idea, Shino couldn't help but take herself to the forehead and inwardly question Inari what on earth she had left her to deal with, this wasn't something she was equipped to handle.
outwardly Shino did her best to keep a calm mask and said
"very good, now with them all out try to see if you can dial some of them in it will be very much the same I felt you so with your energy earlier"
as Kira concentrated and managed to reduce the fires into a fraction that was just dancing around her was both Yin and Shino showing visible relief
with the flames now reduced to something more manageable did Shino instruct Kira to handle each flame differently at the same time she wanted her to expand the size and range of one flame, the temperature of another
and a thirds range to be such that you could only get burned if you literally touched the flame, this was both a tough task for Kira as she felt like she was exercising muscles she had never used before and keeping each muscle in specific ways, multi tasking itself wasn't the hard part, her time spent playing video games allowed her a lot of flexibility when it came to having to manage several different things at the same time, and she somehow felt aided by her instinct, but act of doing the control was the harder part as she had never done this before, and it was in short a muscle she had never used before.
Both Yin and Shino starred at Kira while being impressed, handling the muscles was what they considered the easy part as it was mostly instinctive, but many Kitsune had it in their nature to be easily distracted so managing and concentrating on a lot of different things at once was uncommon even Yin often found it very hard to not find herself distracted during her own training.
