"Sound the horn!" Sek said with a sneer on his face at Eduoard. He struggled with the feeling of despondency and humiliation. Sek had envisioned how the battle would go with the wizard's input. He couldn't believe that Eduoard hadn't seen the loss and defeat coming. If Eduoard was as powerful as he had claimed, why hadn't he foreseen what just happened? Sek wondered if all he had invested in the wizard coming to the Red Kingdom and working for them was all a waste. He wondered if the wages he paid the damned wizard every month were for naught.
King Sek returned to his former position and watched the wizard through squinted eyes. If not for Nibal, who brought him back to the matter at hand, he would have killed Eduoard right there and then. But they had a battle to win and it wasn't like they didn't have the man-power to win the war.
When Eduoard got to where Landgrave was, he stopped and turned his head to the side.
