"What were you all doing?!" Sek yelled at the top of his voice.
"This wouldn't have happened if I wasn't in the meeting," one of the generals said.
But Landgrave was devastated. He couldn't believe how they had let their guard down so much and had become so porous for such a stupid attack to happen. When had they gotten so relaxed and lackadaisical? It baffled his mind.
King Sek was furious. He paced from one end to the other as he grounded his teeth together.
"What was destroyed? What did they do? Are the soldiers that pursued the spies back?"
"They aren't back, Your Majesty," General Landgrave replied.
"I guess Taterra's strength is in espionage..." said Sek. "After the spy, we caught in the kingdom, they still pulled this stunt? I will make them pay for this."
"The horses are in pain but some soldiers are already seeing to them..." General Jaser said.
