Ling wasn't pleased with what his eyes were seeing. He moved closer to Seth who wasn't even speaking at this time, and just lay on the bed with his eyes closed. He had asked Seth some questions to which he hadn't gotten a reply. Was he asleep? Was he in a coma? Ling didn't know what was happening but he was about to find out.
He took a pin out of his pouch containing many strange things and leaned toward Seth, while he studied his face. Ling took hold of Seth's collar and pulled it down, noticing the black veins spread down to his neck area. This was bad. And Ling had the feeling that if those veins traversed Seth's heart, it would cause something fatal which he wasn't sure they would be able to recover from.
He swallowed hard and continued with what he was doing.
"You have caused us so much distress, demon prince," Ling said as he poked Seth's skin with the pin in his hand and quickly put his hand under, collecting the blood that had oozed from the opening.
