"My queen," Alys said as she bowed and stood with her hands interlocked in front of her.
"Come closer," Zyne said. This time around, she was sitting behind the desk that was in her room.
"Who is outside? Did you send out the guards temporarily?"
"Yes, My queen, I did," Alys replied as she walked closer to where the queen was sitting down. "It is just Fanis that is on the other side of the door," Alys replied.
There was something that was on the table. It was like a little container by was deep blue in color. Alys had never seen this piece in the queen's chambers before and she was the one who was in charge of cleaning and arranging the queen's chambers.
She quickly peeled her gaze away and looked at the queen who she found staring directly at her.
Alys swallowed. Queen Zyne has always been intimidating. She had that aura about her.
Alys bowed again — awkwardly.
