Ling got to work on Seth with what he had made with some of the magic that was residue in the sword.
After some time, after so many incantations and spell casting, Ling was done. He could see that it was effective because the bleeding had stopped. That was a positive sign that brought hope to Ling's mind.
Still, he was baffled.
Who had forged that sword? Who had made such a weapon — a weapon that was clearly against the prince. Why had such a weapon been made in the first place?
Ling recalled a statement that the commander had made.
It had been given to him by his sister — the commander's sister.
If that was truly the case, then the woman must be no ordinary person. That much, Ling knew.
"Prince?"
Ling waited for a response but got nothing. He had thought that Seth would open his eyes once the wound stopped bleeding.
